Great place! The place is showing its age! The rooms could have been much cleaner! under the bed was filthy and I feel like the pillows and linens were for a 1 star resort. It is difficult to review because some things were 5 star and some things were a 1 star.

The view was out of this world (literally)! Suites are HUGE. Some concerns about the wear and tear of some aspects of our room/bathroom fixtures but overall amazing property set on the side of a mountain so be ready to walk a bit. Shuttle to other sister properties was amazing! Such a great perk!

This property is old and not maintained well. The hallways leading to the bedrooms feel like a dirty cheap motel. The bathroom fixtures are old and rusty. The flooring in the rooms is chipped and feels gross. Our bathroom water was shot off without notice. Only after calling I realized it was for maintenance and was going to be off for two hours. Our child was woken up from his nap by loud noise of grinding that was happening literally outside of our room. We were also not happy with how they relayed information about the resort at the beginning. They just handed us a map of the resort and two papers with the list of restaurants at all PB resorts. We had to cross-reference the two to realize which restaurants were in which building. We also had to decipher breakfast/lunch/dinner options based on the open and close times listed for each restaurant. We got there in the afternoon and were so tired to try to figure out what's where, so we ordered room service food with ranged from bad to okay. Overall, nice staff, good food at the restaurants, but huge lack of communication and being inconsiderate (loud noises near rooms), as well as generally poor shape of the rooms and the hallways.

Paid for a jacuzzi room, they told us they'd fix it first night. Did not fix first night, sent a technician day 2, he couldn't fix it. They moved us rooms the following day, day 3, after, the SECOND room they moved us to, the jacuzzi did not work. You'd think they'd double check to make sure the jacuzzi works, they didn't. We had an engagement ceremony and party to attend so we could not move again. The following day we left. Food at the resort is good, I would not order the orange juice, as it tastes like powder in water. Pools were nice and great views. I've traveled to Cancun several times in the past, given this was my first Cabo trips I had high hopes. The main difference is in Cancun the resorts have everything within walking distance, it's easy to get around with little time lost. This resort you need a cart to get around, lots of time wasted walking and waiting for carts, sometimes they come around and their full and you have to wait for another, and that one may be full again. Overall decent experience, the food was good and scenery was beautiful, but I would skip out on paying for the jacuzzi room, not worth it. As 2 of the other couples in my group were for some reason upgraded free of charge, while I booked this jacuzzi room months in advance and did not get to enjoy it.

First day we arrived to our room, there were a couple issues concerning one of our showers, sink and a burnt out light. Problem was upon initial call for assistance, me and my guests waited for about an hour and a half. We were hungry after a long flight and last thing we needed was to wait that long. I had to call back and demanded to speak to a manager until I received assistance. Finally someone showed up about 20 minutes later but then left and didn’t come back. Just frustrating dealing with that after a long trip

The views were beautiful. The design and architecture of the resort buildings were impressive. The resort buildings and infrastructure are in need of upgrades .The ventilation system was so loud I had to wear ear plugs to bed. The biggest disappointment was the lack of fine dining options for dinner. The Market was awesome both in design, dining options, and food quality but the restaurants were all disappointing. The food was less than appealing and there were more flies than a garbage dump. We paid extra for all inclusive dining but there were no fine dining options unless you paid extra charges! (Average $70 plus USD per person per meal. This was unexpected and very disappointing!
