On the Nile River! Location, Location, Location

Selfishly, we want to start off by saying that we hesitate to leave a rave & wonderful review. Our reasoning is we love this home so much we hope to return and now we are worried that once everyone finds this Special Gem of a place, we will lose our opportunity to stay due to vacancy availability going forward. That being said, here is the review... We searched high & low for the absolute best home to stay in Egypt and now we have found it! Nile River View owned by Samer is by far the most beautiful home combined with best real estate location you will find in Cairo. This home sits steps away from the Nile River on the most electric vibe on the Nile! This is a very large home that is warm and very comfortable. The views day & night are the most beautiful we have ever experienced. We were fortunate to have stayed on the 12th level of this beautiful home with room fit for a King & Queen. We were so happy and content staying home & on property due to the wonderful amenities of this home. We cooked every meal, we relaxed on our balcony view, we witnessed the most beautiful and awe inspiring sunsets and were warmly welcomed by the locals and fellow visitors while we strolled in and out at our leisure. The large living area along with the extremely large "Panoramic" sliding glass window made for an unbelievable view. The private Nile River view from the great room was as equally breathtaking! The home & property are wonderful! Get ready to experience a great place in Cairo, Egypt!

Fantastic Experience with a Gorgeous View

There are so many wonderful aspects of staying at this property I don't even know where to start. The first thing to know is that when you stay here you are treated like a guest not a transaction. First, the physical apartment is exactly as pictured but more comfortable. The living room furniture is a cozy place to relax before a busy day or a place to recharge after seeing some of the many treasures in and around Cairo. The beds are firm. The master bath shower is amazing - great water pressure with so many options on how to get the sightseeing dirt off oneself! The kitchen is well stocked and Samer even includes some basic food and beverage items, including most importantly ample bottled water for your stay. The TV has Netflix and surround sound. We enjoyed watching a few movies in between being out in the city. And the place has black out shades so you can watch at anytime. But seriously, the view can't be beat. It was a little breathtaking to walk in and see the pyramids out in the distance (to be fair, they are not always visible but when they are, it's amazing). My young boys - 4 and 6 - enjoyed saying good morning and goodnight to them. Second, Samer is one of the best hosts we have ever stayed with. From the initial inquiry on the property through checkout, he is always available to answer questions and chat about how to optimize your trip. He is friendly, thoughtful and very, very knowledgeable. He has thought of everything to keep his guests happy and safe. He provides a list of local restaurants that are safe to eat at for tourists - seriously don't drink the water or eat anything that may have been washed but not cooked! Some local restaurants are very familiar with the property and will deliver. One thing I learned is always take Samer's suggestions, including.... Hire Mina as your tour guide! This was the first sightseeing type trip we have taken as a family. My boys are young and I knew it would be too much to try to figure out how to get from place to place AND actually see the sights with them. That's why we hired Mina in the first place BUT I would highly recommend him for any independent traveler at whatever age. He arranged everything from airport pick up and drop off to getting the tickets for all the sights. He also is extremely friendly and very very knowledgeable about all of Egypt's 5000 yrs of history. He was able to help us focus on the most important things. No space for more - just book it!
