When we checked in at 8 pm we were told that only the second floor was available for guests as the others were for refugees. Also we were not to use the elevator as that was for refugees only. I am 80years old and the 25 steps to our floor were very difficult for me. Also for my daughter as she has bad knees. We should have been notified of these conditions prior to arrival and given the chance to rebook elsewhere. You can be sure we will never book here again and will let others know of the conditions as well.

Good value and location

It was an average room for a reasonable price. There was some damage to the walls and doors but nothing major. The street noise from MacLeod trail was significant. Breakfast was just ok. The eggs were overcooked, there was no sausage or bacon once it ran out (before 9:00 am) and there were at least 3 people in the dining area that were “unhoused” people who snuck in for free breakfast. I didn’t mind their industriousness, but I did mind the smell.
