ill try most things once!

The double bed was 2 singles together so the middle was really hard and not great for a couple The sockets were all the wrong side of the room The room smelt of dog which isn't nice at all There was dog hairs on the bed and cushions Someone had used the toilet and left particles still stuck to the bowl 🙄 The shower filled up around your feet so you had to have a quick shower or it would be all over the floor. The next room was loud talking till after midnight, tried to report via the phone number in the room book but no answer. Ended up knocking on their door to ask them to keep the noise down and the smell of weed coming from their room told me I would get no joy from these guests. The bathroom stunk of fish on the second night, must of been coming from the blocked drain in the shower
This water was on the floor during our visit and wasn't wiped up at all.

The room was nice but the shower was very small and it was nited tgat the floor would flood following having a shower so had to use towels to dry it

Triple room, spacious enough and nice and clean. Beds were comfy. En suite shower a little small but we were only staying one night in the area and this accommodation was value for money. Rooms were separate to the pub, it was nice and quiet and a free car park.

The people running the Inn are amazingly helpful. I asked for help with 2 things while we were there and they did more than i asked for. Room was large. Bed was very comfortable. Shower in room 8 was small but adequate and the water was hot rather than just warm like other places we've stayed this trip.

Fantastic stay. Stayed there as grew up in Calne and knew it as the Bug and Spider which my grampy used to frequent many years ago. Visited family still in Calne and surrounding areas. Brilliant hosts, very welcoming and friendly staff. Will def stay there again

Nice area

The area was perfect for what we wanted for our short trip. Room was ok but definitely needed a refresh, shower ot in best state. Bed was very comfy tho. Pub it self looked nice however we wanted food sat lunch and was told around 1pm, had 45 minute wait which was fine, 1.30 came and no sign of movement for food so we went elsewhere. There could also have been a menu in our room and perhaps some knowledge of the area and things to do. We were just shown to room and not given any info, so we didnt even sample their all u can eat breakfast as we felt no effort was made. We did wmjoy our stay just lottle things would ha e made it better.

This was booked a week in advance of us travelling from wales to accommodate me and my partner helping my daughter as she was going into hospital to have a baby, so wanted somewhere local to calne. We had our welbehaved dog with us too. Having parked up in the carpark we entered via the signposted reception door at the rear..there were several paving slabs smashed and stuck up very dangerous an accident waiting to happen. As we entered to check in, the reception desk was literally in the dark and there was an open loft ladder hatch with a rope dangling right in the walk way to the bar. I then had to walk thru into the bar area before i could find a member of staff Eventually Yazz showed us to room 5 which on 1st glance looked cosy and inviting but any room would after uve just driven 3hrs. All we needed was a nice clean comfortable room. This was EVERYTHING BUT THAT! Yazz left and said we could catch up with her later to pay and if we needed her thats were shed be. After shed fled the room i couldnt help notice the obvious cobwebs dangling spot lights and virtually covering everywhere, tv was same with a thick layer of dust, kettle with water still in it, The bed was a whole new story, after peeling the duvet back, there was no mattress protector! But only a wee stained quilt, that had been used to cover all the human hair that was matted in to the 2 single mattresses, that also had yellow stains n blood covering them delightful! The bathroom was awful too, 2nd rm as bad re

Stay good motel style easy access Beer good Didn't have meals only served weekends Last day forgot sort our room had to ask for fresh towels (usualy changed daily good quality too) n coffee etc We in room 11 wifi rubbish hit n miss if your where lucky Rooter at top of corridor Struggled to get channel on tv Easy walk into town Beer garden could do with bit of attention (could do with couple goats) Shower / room small no where to put anything (good job not got cat) Only one chair n stool for desk
