The front desk man was quite lovely. But the room was subpar in terms of cleaniness, there was no recycle bin. The TV didn’t work, I was only staying one night so it was fine, but still.

The hot tub was under construction, so I was disappointed about that. My husband did say the restaurant staff was not friendly toward him at all although the hotel reception staff were very nice. I like the hotel and grounds. We were very comfortable in our room equipped with fireplace. We would stay again for sure.

Very clean, friendly staff, beautiful location. Was there off season during a storm so pretty quiet. Rooms are a bit outdated but not sure if it's just the unit I was in. Tiny desk in room to work on laptop, not much space, but the room was very big.

Staff were friendly and helpful, the history of painters was cool to see on the walls of the main building. We chose the room type because the photos online looked updated but the room we were in has not seen an update in a couple decades. Overall it was a pleasant experience.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Painters Lodge! The view from our room was incredible, the property was peaceful, & the staff were friendly. The room we stayed in was a bit dated, but that didn’t negatively affect our stay.
