Everything was great . But one person in Coffee area was very rude. Her name was “ Valeria” i was waiting on my coffee for 45 min and when i went to the counter and addressed the situation, she was very rude about it and gave me attitude and talked in very non professional way . We spent so much money to have a great experience. It only takes one person to ruin your experience. I was very disappointed. She was also talking very rude to a non- speaking elderly Couple. But everything else was awesome .

Riu peninsula was absolutely amazing!! From the time the valet opened our car door and assisted with our baggage. We were greeted with smiles and politely. Our check in with mada( I hope I spelled correctly) was great we upgraded to the all adult villas. While checking in someone came over with drinks and we had told us if we needed anything else to let him know. While walking through to the room I noticed how clean and visually beautiful the property was. They had multiple pools all looked clean and there was activities going on. Upon arrival to our room I was surprised to see the balcony had a hot tub, there was a shot bar set up. The fridge was stocked up with multiple types of beverages. The room was clean and smelled good. Our shower was huge big enough to fit 10 people inside . The room was perfect. Each day room service came and made sure our room was clean and comfortable, and I had a new towel animal each day. During the evening they come for turn down service. If they see you walking by they greet you and ask if you need anything in the room. My stay was for 5 days and I would absolutely recommend and be returning to RIU Peninsula. Everyone who works at this location is friendly and ensures the guest are giving quality service. Their service is not dependent on how much you tip which makes you want to give more. They have multiple restaurants on the property, best part you don’t need reservations. Quality and presentation of food is the excellent.

I have stayed here about 6 times and absolutely love it. The Adults only VIP area is quiet, private and the rooms are nice. The staff definitely maintains the cleanliness, there is plenty of food options, staff is very nice, Marcelo and Cruz have remembered my family and I year after year and they go above and beyond. Entertainment is great, great beach access. I’m excited to be back next year after renovations!

I have been RUI Porto valhart & Los Cabos and the foam party, white and neon party I could take minors all the parties in Cancun RUI were 18yr+ so the entertainment was very limited. Which made the evening very boring. If I have to come back to this location this will be the top reason not to come.

The property was great! The only thing that was bad was the noise on the nights of the parties. We stayed in a villa and the night time party was obnoxious!

Stayed three nights with my family. People overall are very friendly that work there. However my 13 year old didn't have many activities that were appropriate for his age and the Caribe next door is all adults only so we could not take him there. Unfortunately, our toilet didn't flush when we checked into the room. Also, we lost hot water on our second night in the shower so we had to take cold showers. The room overall is average. The restaurants all had a 40 minute wait or longer so we did the buffet each night and it was decent. The breakfast and lunch were good at the buffet also. The Micheal Jackson show in the evening was good on the first night. The next two nights the entertainment was lacking. The second night was games which was a dud and the the live music on the third night wasn't that good. I feel they could really up the entertainment. The beach is kind of small with seaweed all over but that's the carrribiean right now. Overall, it was not bad I wouldn't return.

The staff was incredible. We felt right at home and felt absolutely welcome and included. The beach was beautiful and food options were all delicious. Will be back soon!

Love the Riu Palace Penninsula, have stayed there before & will def stay there again! It’s the best hotel in the area!
