Toast drinks on the plush outdoor sofas, enjoy hors d'oeuvres on the alfresco dining table and stay cozy by the open-air fire pit as the sun sets over the Pacific.

- This home is located in a neighborhood with a strict noise ordinance policy and therefore is only suitable for quieter groups. Please make sure you are comfortable with these policies before renting this home, otherwise, if violations occur you may be subject to a fine that can reach up to $10,000.
- Please be aware that this home does not have a washer/dryer.
- Bookings must be made at least 24 hours before check-in. Same-day bookings are not permitted.
- Absolutely no exterior amplified music is allowed. Violations will result in a $500 fine.
- While we do our best to notify guests in advance, unannounced power outages may occur due to unexpected city maintenance.
- No events are allowed unless pre-approved and coordinated through Avantstay. This includes but is not limited to: rehearsal dinners, wedding receptions, birthday parties, and social gatherings.
- All guests must comply with local laws regarding outdoor lighting, quiet hours, and limitations on parties or gatherings.

This is a smoke-free property. Violation of the no-smoking policy will result in forfeiture of the security deposit, a $300 smoking fee, and liability for any fire or property damage costs.

As part of our commitment to being good neighbors, occupancy limits and quiet hours (9pm-8am) are strictly enforced. No speakers or sound systems will be provided for use in our properties. Violation of any noise ordinances will be subject to fines that can reach up to $10,000 per violation.

Events or parties are not allowed without prior written approval and an additional fee. Any unauthorized parties or events will be shut down and a fine will be assessed. Please inquire for more information about our event policies and fees.

There is nothing more important to us at AvantStay than the health, safety, and experience of our guests & staff. We've enhanced our cleaning and sanitation protocols and are taking extra care to disinfect all surfaces between reservations with hospital-grade disinfecting solutions.

As a reminder, we do work with 3rd party vendors to maintain the property, and although we adhere to the strictest CDC guidelines and advise all contractors to wear PPE equipment, we can not always enforce. We strongly advise guests to please deny access if any vendors fail to meet and adhere to these standards.

Almost great

This house is almost perfect, yet a few things are holding it back from getting there. Yes, the busy street and pitched driveway aren’t great, but it’s small things that could help elevate the house. The shower heads are cheap and water pressure is sad. The guest toilet makes a very loud weird sound every time it’s flushed.

The house was super cute, Boho vibes. We love the large patio and open windows and doors. We were not happy with the broken washer/dryer/dishwasher. Made it difficult on us not being able to wash our clothes with a messy five year old. It is on a very noisy busy street. I love staying in Cardiff, but would not want to stay Off of Birmingham Again.

Very nice house, busy road

The house was absolutely beautiful and clean, and had a wonderful ocean view. You can also walk to the shops and restaurants in Cardiff! Only drawback is that it is on a very busy road and it’s hard to get in and out of the driveway as it’s narrow and the road is busy.

Exactly What We Needed

We loved this property. It was a perfect set up for a family of 4. It was in a great neighborhood with easy access to all the surrounding areas as well. The communication with the property management was great and super responsive/helpful. We also used babyquip for a crib and it worked out perfectly. The stocking the fridge benefit was awesome as well. Overall we had a great experience and would recommend this property.

Loved the view to the ocean & closeness to the market & village. Open floor plan with lots of streaming natural sun light. Kitchen was well equipped & entire home clean & decorated in casual high end fashion. Washer/dryer in the kitchen area made it easy for use. Love the extensive deck with comfortable sofa/chairs and table with umbrella. Gas grill conveniently located on deck. Even nicer in person than the VRBO pictures.

Loved this cottage...high end designers did a gorgeous renovation. High end kitchen, bathrooms, appliances, well stocked, cozy beds. Killer ocean view. On a busy street but well insulated house so noise wasn't much of an issue for us. Hey its southern california so peace and quiet isn't why we visit! Also it's next to the beautiful walking district of Cardiff. 7 minute walk to town. Hit Waverly and the gourmet Sea Side market. Our family is nearby...why we chose Cardiff. Stayed a month to escape Seattle winter and booked again. When I win super lotto I will move here😄

The house is beautiful inside and very functional. Kitchen well equipped. The AvantStay staff were exceptional. The con of the property is that it is on a very busy street. We found the noise to be difficult and unfortunately this would stop us from returning to this property.

A wedding trip

Our family stayed at the property for my nephew's wedding. We loved the house and the deck. Everything was nice and clean and very well furnished and everything you need in the kitchen. We loved opening the living room wall and enjoying the beautiful deck and weather. The house slept 6 adults very comfortably and was well supplied for an infant. We would definitely stay here again. The location was very central and lots of places within walking distance.

A perfect stay

We had a great 7 night stay at this property. It was a perfect layout for our family which included 1 child and 1 infant. Everything was as pictured and the Avant staff were super helpful when needed. Location was ideal for us as we were in the heart of Cardiff. I highly recommend this property.

Just the best!

We loved every minute of our month-long stay at the Camden House. Gorgeous, near the beach, with great restaurants and shops close by. Amazing grocery store, and sunsets from the deck every night. We’d rent the house forever if we could!

Perfect Location

As Is in the Pictures

Our stay was fabulous! We parked and walked and rode the bikes to and from the beach; suitable for our active lifestyles! The house was so comfortable and clean; even starting there was more than enough for us! Things to keep in mind with this house: 1) Returning from the beach is an uphill walk. 2) for those sensitive to white noise, the house is by a busy street. ENJOY!
