This is my go to place when I need to stay in Caro. The owner good very kind and keeps the rooms nice and clean. I have never had any issues during my many stays here.

Room was fine, outside entrance. Made to.look like a log cabin. Room was quite large. Door to bathroom was almost impossible to close. Opened out into room and rubbed on carpet. It is soon going to come off of hinges. It's an easy fix, take it off and plane 1/2 inch off the bottom. This makes us feel.like the owner doesn't care to figure out how to fix the problem. Had to keep curtains closed all the time due to people walking on the deck right outside the room. Really not a breakfast to speak of. Either offer something decent or forget about it. We ate elsewhere..

No longer the family owned experience we had hoped for. Room was clean. Property had alot of cigarette butts outside. Bed was way too soft. Didn't visit the continental breakfast or shower. For the price it served its purpose, to sleep for 8 hrs.

My son and I stayed overnight ahead of an early morning duck hunt at Fish Point Wildlife Refuge in Unionville—just a quick 25-minute drive from the hotel. Our room featured two queen beds that were exceptionally comfortable, and everything was spotless. We especially appreciated being able to open the window and enjoy some fresh air. The staff were genuinely friendly and accommodating. Although we had to leave before breakfast was served, they thoughtfully offered us a couple of granola bars for the road, which was a nice touch. The price was very reasonable for what we needed, and the overall experience was quiet and restful. If we’d had more time, I would’ve loved to take advantage of the outdoor amenities like the grill and firepit. I’d definitely consider staying here again, especially for future trips to Fish Point.

Location was good, great rates. Pretty clean, shower had some dents that left open ceramic and the same in the tub. Overbearing essential oil smells. Beds were just par. No one in the office upon check out.

Staff was friendly and kind but the traffic at night was very noisy especially if you stay in room#1. Trucks passing by at all hours of the night made for a restless night of sleep. The carpet is old and dirty. The price seems high for the amenities but the location was near where I needed to be.

Car show weekend

Great family run Motel. Clean Room, friendly check in and out. We stayed for the Frankenmuth car show and they charged a reasonable amount for the rooms. Just a very short drive to some good restaurants too.

Stay and sleep well.

We stayed in the suite with heart-shaped tub. Something that has been on both of our bucket list for a long time. This is a small mom and pop operation. The grounds and the common areas on the exterior are well kept, neat, and tidy. The room itself was clean and tidy as well. It is however a little dated. There is a separate combined bathtub in shower in the bathroom however the shower head does not work and it is rusted. The bed was clean and comfortable and you will find this location to be one of the quietest sleeps you will ever have. Bring a little seasoned firewood with you as this motel has a fire pit that you can use and with there being hardly any light pollution night times in Michigan's thumb are something to behold. Great little place with reasonable rates and is a perfect midway point to several locations in Michigan's thumb.

It is kind of in the middle of nowhere and was very quiet. Being away from the cities was a great choice. It's small and cozy, and very clean. The price was also amazing. I will stay here again.

Not intuitive on how to switch from bath to shower mode. TV did not recognize cable box signal and “continental breakfast” was very underwhelming. Exterior of the property was cute however the interior carpet was musty as ac was turned off until we entered room and it was a hot humid day. Not sure I’d stay here again
