My wife and I enjoyed our stay. Location to beach had great access and clean. The restaurant on site was convenient and excellent food. Staff was very helpful and respectful to our needs.

The fact that I had to clean up everyday until I called to have housekeeping come but then all they did was bring in fresh towels and made bed. They did not leave any coffee cups or clean floor. I had to keep using the same paper ones. My husband had to take garbage down to the desk twice. The staff was friendly and courteous. This was my honeymoon and they did leave us popcorn and picture frame. I don’t think I would book here again.

The staff is amazing. The property is on the beach. The only issue I had is the parking. It gets full and its not very convenient when it happens. I loved the room. Its so clean and vibrant. The staff though is attentive and right on any issue you have. Ill be back and I will recommend to others.

Unsafe for children

This was my little girl’s first beach trip. It was a family trip, and a bit sentimental for all of us due to that & my FIL’s recent passing. We booked the Oceanview Suite with a King, a Queen & a bunk bed to have enough room for 5 people. Imagine how mad I am finding a loose stimulant pill for narcolepsy/ADHD that would’ve killed my daughter in the pillow/linens drawer. Now, imagine how mad I am for the reason I was using that drawer. Housekeeping apparently uses room 502 to hide & nap or they just don’t clean the bunks. The bunk had no linens, black footprints on the mattress cover, a mostly full Pepsi can wedged into the mattress with lipstick on it, jewelry & dirty tooth plaque pickers. It was FULL of sand. Housekeeping only brought sheets with no real apology & later texted offering a “full service” cleaning. ROOMS SHOULD BE CLEANED BEFORE GUESTS ARRIVE. PAID FOR SLEEPING ARRANGEMENTS SHOULD BE USABLE! The room also stunk & the beds are uncomfortable anyway. The good reviews are due to the restaurant and the exterior paint job at the hotel. This is not a safe or clean place for families with children. All this for triple the price of a nicer hotel in Florida or literally any other beach. $1700 for 3 nights lmao. Go to Charleston and live nice for that money. This is roadside motel scummy with a tiki bar.

Tiki bar, accomodating & friendly staff, beach bathroom on first floor near pool was convenient so we didn't have to go back to our room. Housekeeping should make sure there are enough towels & washcloths in room for # of people booked in room. Also, had to ask for sheets & blanket for futon chair in King Family room. The bathroom electric outlet didn't work in Rm 204.
