Last minute booking and so glad we chose the lodge! So quaint and cozy and remarkable and friendly staff.

Property was beautiful, bed was comfy and, large room and it was quiet. The only thing I didn't like was the heat wasn't on when we arrived and it was about 30* in there. Took a long time to heat up that big room. We sat with our coats on for at least 20 minutes.

I reserved a room with a bath tub however that's not what I got...so that in itself kinda ruined the stay, for the wife anyway thus causing displeasure for me.

Nothing was mentioned to our staff about this request. Even if it is requested, we only have a couple end rooms without balconies that have tub/shower combos. The guest rooms were also full this weekend due to a large wedding which also could have been the reasoning for not being able to honor a special room request. We do not promise certain room types but always try to accommodate. Sorry

Good rooms. Great food.
