The Jonathan J. Wright Inn is located in Charleston's charming historic Cannonborough-Elliotborough district. This traditional, Charleston-single home is conveniently located near top-rated restaurants, nightlife, shopping, historical sites, and more. This listing features original hardwood floors, a beautifully renovated suite, queen bed, mini-fridge, microwave, and on-site parking for small vehicles. Enjoy all that the 'Holy City' has to offer!

-This listing provides wireless internet. I do not have access to cable television. You may login to streaming apps (I.e. Netflix, Hulu) using your personal credentials; however, please remember to logout prior to check out.

- There is on-site parking for SMALL vehicles only.

The Neighborhood:
Many activities and local sites are within walking distance. If you have a small to mid-sized vehicle, I highly recommend that you leave your vehicle in my parking lot during your stay & utilize Uber, a pedi-cab, or rent a bike to explore the city (i.e. The City Market, Rainbow Row, South Battery, etc).

The room was very comfortable with a private little porch to enjoy relaxing with a glass of your favorite beverage. The bathroom is small but very clean and modern. A couple of small breakfast places close. Less than a mile walk to downtown. Comfortable bed. Equipped with a Keurig, coffee, creamer, sugar, wine, microwave.

Great experience over all. Super comfy bed with great pillows. Immaculately clean and stylishly decorated. We particularly enjoyed the added touch of a keurig & a selection of teas & coffees, which we enjoyed on the piazza both mornings. We felt like this was a fairly safe area and not too far to some great restaurants & historical sites. Thank you for such a cozy place!

Cute, small spot

The accommodations were clean and the host was super welcoming with the wine, flower, snacks and cold towels in the fridge. Location was great for touring downtown but also being close to Shem creek and Folly (by car). The space was small but sufficient for my husband and I for the few days. My biggest complaint is that the walls were paper thin. We were not able to sleep past 8ish in the mornings and on Saturday night, we were awoken at 1:45 am by the people upstairs and I was not able to fall back asleep for some time. I always sleep with earplugs but my husband and I were still awoken by the noises from the upstairs and side units. Overall it was a cute, clean and centrally located spot but will likely not stay again due to the noise issues.

Perfect Stay in Charleston

My husband and I loved this unit! It was super charming and chic. The bed was the most comfortable we had on a vacation in a very long time. The unit is very clean. I liked that it was in walking distance to all there is to offer on King Street. We are “Southern Charm” and “Southern Hospitality” fans so it was nice to be so close to the bars/restaurants/shops associated with those shows. When you look at the cost of hotels in the area, this place is a steal for the price! We would definitely return.

Great Little Place!

Stayed here on a girls trip. It was the perfect location for exploring the city. We walked or biked everywhere. The unit was impeccably clean and there were many thoughtful touches such as coffee, water, toiletries, and a lovely welcome gift of wine and snacks. It is small but we were comfortable and had everything we needed. The host was quick to reply to any questions we had. The only complaint is that we could hear the people above us walking on the wood floor when we were trying to sleep, but earplugs helped with that. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

This is a small, well operated inn in Charleston. It is in walking distance to many local museums, restaurants, bars and coffee cafes.The room was small but comfortable. Good wi-fi, large screen TV, plush towels, wine and snacks awaiting your arrival.
