5 stars. We booked this not knowing anything about Charleston. Family of six. Their suite was spacious - large bathroom too! This hotel is small but quaint and has all the special touches to make the visit personable. The complementary candy (m&m, skittles, jelly beans), the turn down service that would leave us m&m’s, nice breakfast, cheese and wine in the afternoons and cookies/cakes in the evening for dessert - all complementary. It’s steps away from the market, great places to eat and the carriage rides. Highly highly recommend. The staff were always friendly, accommodating, and remembered us each time. I cannot say enough about this property. We will be staying here in the future!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay! We particularly liked the proximity to the market, restaurants & bars. The French Quarter Inn offers a glass of champagne upon check-in. They also offer a daily afternoon wine and snack buffet and evening cookies. Our room was fantastic. We praise ALL the staff for making our stay incredible!

Loved our stay at French Quarter Inn. Great location to shopping, dining & everything you want to see in Charleston! The staff was friendly and professional. The personal extras for guests while you stay are like no other hotel I’ve experienced. The welcoming champagne is a wonderful treat to start your stay followed by a wine & cheese hour, milk and cookies evening snack & lovely complimentary breakfast. The rooms are spacious with nice furnishings and the beds are very comfortable. We did have one hiccup with a dirty bathroom mat which was handled swiftly by housekeeping. All in all our stay was wonderful and I would definitely recommend the hotel. We wouldn’t hesitate to stay here again.

Amazing hotel

I love how it's right in the middle of of downtown and everything is within walking distance. The ambience of the hotel and even your room is amazing and relaxing. Very quiet and peaceful which is what I was looking for. I love the fresh baked cookies and cold milk they serve in the lounge every night at 8:30. I would definitely stay here again.
