Hotel is under new management so be aware that details on Expedia and hotel website are not accurate. Check in is 2pm, restaurant, entertainment currently closed. Laundry is not self service and costs $16 au about £8! They don't provide shuttle to train or bus as stated on their site. Best to contact directly to confirm queries you have. Location is across from small park which is nice my room looked out on it and although next to road not used much at night so was quiet. Easy walking to shops, food, tourist spots, supermarket, pretty much all of town. Also 10 min walk to bus that takes you to Townsville. Rooms large, not fancy but all you need. Toaster, microwave, kettle, fridge, big tv, ac. Reception provided me with plate, bowl and cutlery so I could self cater. Needs some tlc definitely dated but comfortable stay.

Berry dated and tired but refurbishing is happening and should be great when done.

convenient stay in Charters Towers CBD
Publié le 12 déc. 2010 sur Expediaa budget priced motel set in a nice surround, and close to centre of town, which suits me. And quiet, no noise at night.
