The owners Ann and Mark were delightful and had thought of so many added conveniences! Great breakfast, treats and Mark's charcuterie boards were amazing!
Ann and Mark are great hosts. The breakfast was wonderful. Several of the other guests joined us on the front porch Saturday evening, we all sat and talked for hours, it was a wonderful experience.
Such a beautiful old home with some very unique room options. Breakfast every morning was well thought out with plenty of choices. Was very accommodating for food allergies. The tea room was beautiful and the hideaway out back was neat. Beautiful paintings and wood work offered to purchase made by owners. I would recommend to all my friends and hope to return.
We stayed in the Truffles Room (Victorian theme). The room is lovely and very clean. Bath and Body Works products in the shower, freshly made cookies and cold carafes of filtered water to take to your room. Lots of places on the property to sit and read or talk. We sat on the front porch after dinner and enjoyed the evening. Thereâs a sitting room upstairs with coffee, candy, and tea. Also a separate building out back with games and seating if you want a hideaway to just hang out and an outdoor area as well. The breakfast was really good. Lots of attention to detail from the friendly hosts. The hostess, Ann, accommodated a guestâs food allergies at breakfast and the host, Mark, was very helpful too.
We had never stayed at a bed and breakfast prior to this but were so excited when we found Secret. Our host Anne and her husband Mark were so sweet a wonderful! We were only there for a night to get to Mackinac for our 2 year anniversary but we had a lovely time. The breakfast was amazing (we even got to try some lovely homemade jam) and all the rooms were so quaint, clean, and charming. Will definitely be looking for more B&Bâs from here on out and recommending this stay to anyone heading up to Michigan. Wish we couldâve been there longer. Thank you Anne & Mark!
Beautiful home with gracious, kind hosts! Loved the themed rooms...welcome basket...homemade cookies on arrival with herbal tea sitting areas...gorgeous porch with swing...comfortable bedding (great sleep)...the pictures don't do this place justice...such a wonderful place to stay and can't wait to come back!!:)
