The good: Nice hotel, good location, off an alleyway near Saidapet bus stand. Has elevator, in-room service which is pretty good at this price point. The bad: (1) the master light key is in a hallway shared with another room, so the person in the room over could shut off your lights/fan/etc. (2) curtains don't block light.

Superb stay

Superb stay at TMKS. Immaculately clean and built to a very high standard. Large room with very spacious en suite and excellent air-conditioning. Very good buffet breakfast. My only issue was that their wifi would not work for iPhone something the reception staff acknowledged and yet had not been put right. The iPhone is a popular phone and so this needs to be sorted. Despite this I would highly recommend the place.

A great stay for a good price

It was my second stay at Treebo Mt Kailash Suites. Mt Kailash teaming up with Treebo is a real blessing. The overall service and comfort of the room surpassed my expectations. The room was clean and pleasant. The breakfast gave you a variety of options to choose from. The check in was smooth and check too was quite easy. It is right off Anna Salai making it easily accessible to Chenna's busy thoroughfare. Very accessible to the airport which can be reached within 15-20 minutes. For the price, this hotel is truly a steal. I look forward to staying here during my next trip to Chennai. Thank you Treebo!

Not too bad....

I was given a room in a suite with three rooms. Each room was used as individual self-contained room with an ensuite bathroom. This meant (i) there was a main door with a common area with a table and chairs (where people occupying one of the other rooms ate and made a real mess and left all the containers, etc. behind) and (ii) the master power switch which requires your room key to activate is in the common area so your key needs to be left outside! However, this is only an issue when you are in the room and you can lock your door from inside. Room is of a decent size but dated. Had a safe but no chair at the desk (so can't do any work!). Shower was good and hot. Saw some ants round the cap of the supplied water bottle since the seal was broken! Wifi was okay. Not a lot to do nearby but you can hop on a bus to T-Nagar or take a three wheeler for about Rs 60 (most won't use a meter but some will; you have to haggle!). The Little Mount Metro station is now open so you can get a metro from the airport for Rs 40 and walk to hotel in just over 5 mins (out of station, turn left, left again and over the bridge, next first left after bridge and first left again). Trains run every 20 mins on this new metro system. Unfortunately, there are only about half a dozen stations open between the airport and the City and this is the last one open on the Blue line.

Clean Hotel

My staff at Treebo Mount Kailash Suites was relaxing and quiet. The hotel staff is very polite and ready to please the guests. The room and bathroom were very clean. I enjoyed the South Indian breakfast every morning

great location and service

The location is perfect and so is the facility in terms of catering for family needs - apartment living. Be cautious of taxi services to and from the hotel as the charges varied between taxis for the same distance. I would definitely return if there was another visit to Chennai.

OK Hotel

I stayed there for 2 days, Hotel staff is very good and very prompt. They are ready to help in anythig. This hotel does not have restaurant so you need to order food from outside. Rooms are small than it shows in pic. Breakfast can be improved a lot.
