Great Resort by Marari Beach
Publié le 22 janv. 2018 sur HotelsXandari Pearl is a great Hotel for Marari Beach..it has pathway that goes straight to the beach. The room I had was a mini villa with a small garden and hammock. The only thing to be aware is that the toilet and shower is enclosed but open to the outdoors so may take getting used to. Also no TV in the room but wifi was fast and stable. Buffet breakfast was included which was very good, freshly made eggs and dosas every morning with a wide selection of local and international fare. There is not much in the area in terms of other restaurants or amenities, so lucky the hotel restaurant is very good although some may say slightly pricey - about 20+ GBP ( 1600-2000 rupees ) per night for rice, rotis and seafood curry with dessert. The beach has small cafes where you can have lunch for about 500 rupees ( rice curry and drinks ) but by 6.30pm the beach closes as the sun sets. Aleppey and the famous waterways are about 30 mins away by taxi so it's convenient for that. Staff was very helpful and friendly, everything was clean and well maintained. I had a wonderful time and highly recommend it as I plan to go back myself! :)

Very personal boutique, restful and quiet except for the noise from the public address system each evening from a local festival
Staff were very attentive

Peaceful place
Publié le 7 nov. 2017 sur ExpediaOur stay at the Pearl was inspirational. We read, practiced yoga, went for walks, ate delicious meals, explored the back waters and learned to cook curry dishes. Other activities are available: cycling, sand volleyball, swimming, ping pong, and watching the sunset on the beach. The staff was so helpful and the chef made some tasty meals. Recommended.
