Just stayed the one night for a function at the racecourse. Good clean hotel, welcoming staff, nice breakfast with a good choice. Excellent value for money!

Last time I stayed parking was free to guests, now its charged. Breakfast became very samish after a week. Close to town, cheaper parking across the road.

Love this hotel and the location! The price is amazing, the breakfast is standard full english, cereals, bread and fruit. My only negatives are that the parking is £10 a night which i think is extremely steep, no AC in the rooms (but we did have a fan) and the wifi is non existent!!!! I connected so many times and still had no signal at all in our room. If you’re just looking for somewhere to sleep thats close to a lot of places then it is amazing and i would stay there again.

Great location, brilliant value.

Everything was great when checking in. Staff were really helpful. The hotel bar was good but closed when we came back with no residents bar. The breakfast was buffet style and average. Location is great and the room was brilliant value.

The property, room and breakfast was perfect. The only issue really is that there is no AC so during the heatwave it was pretty tough to sleep. However, they did offer lighter sheets and a desk fan to help ease the heat. Highly recommend this holiday though!

Staff were all very friendly and helpful. Plenty to eat at breakfast time. No Air-con so the room was a bit warm as the fan provided was only blowing room air. However, no air con is reflected in the reasonable price.

We found the property not very family friendly room was very small the travel cot only had a very hard thin mattress which was uncomfortable for baby. Staff weren't very happy when asked to warm some milk so baby could have breakfast so baby didnt have any didnt come down for breakfast second day and came home day early would not recommend for a family with baby happy when asked for milk to be warmedbaby

When we arrived the reception staff were fantastic, they couldn’t do enough for us! We had booked late and the only room available was a standard double. The room was lovely and clean, but the bed was very small. When we went to bed, I couldn’t sleep in the bed as I rolled into the middle and it felt like I was on a hard board. I had to try and sleep on top of the duvet for a bit of comfort, which meant I had no covers. Luckily it was warm, but I did have to use one of the large towels to put over me in the night. Breakfast was alright, staff were lovely and helpful. Checkout was quick!

Wonderful staff

The staff here are fabulous! The rooms & breakfast at the hotel are basic but handy for an overnight stay in Chester - great for zoo & city centre. We had an issue with our room at check in and it was sorted very quickly, every staff member we came into contact with were so helpful & friendly!

Been here several times. Friendly staff. Excellent buffet breakfast. Rooms clean. Parking £10 for right outside hotel and just a short walk into Chester center. What more do you need if your out for a night on the Booze
