Beautiful Chico Farmhouse With Room for All…10 beds!!

We welcome you to enjoy our historic 1908 farmhouse located on a Chandler Walnut orchard. Childhood home of renowned American artist Jackson Pollock. Just a few miles from downtown Chico, CSU Chico, and the Sacramento River, our farmhouse offers a one of a kind experience for your stay.

You and your guests will be welcomed by a grand two story classic white farmhouse, situated on 20 acres of walnut trees and surrounded by a well maintained yard and garden, complete with front porch and rocking chairs. Inside you’ll find high ceilings and original hardwood floors throughout. Original strawberry tile will make you smile in the charming 1940s kitchen and breakfast nook with updated stainless steel refrigerator and glass cook-top range. Our kitchen has many essential items as well as a Keurig with pods and classic coffee pot with filters. Our retro kitchen does not feature a dishwasher so guests are responsible for handwashing dishes please.

All the linens and towels you'll need are provided and of hospitality quality. Super comfy memory foam mattresses throughout the home. We do not provide access to our detached laundry room so there will not be a washing machine or dryer available during your stay.

The Chandler Farmhouse is a 2- story five bedroom, 2 bathroom, 2,200 square foot home. Two bedrooms downstairs each have queen mattresses and can be opened to one another. The second story master bedroom is large with high ceilings and features a king size bed. Attached to master bedroom is a beautiful sunny bedroom with 3 twin beds: a daybed with twin pull-out trundle bed below and a 3rd twin tucked into a cozy nook.The "bunk house bedroom" on the second story is very large and can sleep up to 8 people in its 4 double beds. There is one bathroom on each floor. The upstairs bathroom is accessed through the master bedroom. Two new HVAC systems keep the house comfortable all year. Enjoy views into orchard from our outdoor patio. Gas BBQ will be available. A Pack N' Play and sheet is always available in closet. Plenty of parking. Room for trailers and large vehicles. $25 per day charge for trailer parking (there is still a 16 person max on property even if people are in trailer)

1.5 miles from Safeway Grocery Store & more. Minutes from beautiful Sacramento River fishing, floating, & boating. Less than 2 miles from CSU Chico campus and downtown Chico shops, eateries, and farmers market.

Need more space? Book our cottage too. Our Chandler Orchard Cottage is newly updated and cute as a button!! This detached studio features one queen bed and one queen sleeper sofa, country kitchen, and beautiful bathroom. Located just steps away from the main Chandler Farmhouse. For availability, please contact owner/manager or check VRBO for the separate listing. Our cottage may be booked at the same time our farmhouse is so please check calendars for availability. No special events please; this home is for lodging purposes only and guest use is limited to the number of people specified at time of booking. No weddings, rehearsal dinners, parties, etc. No additional guests allowed at property during your stay, only the number of people on reservation may be on property. Loss of deposit and immediate eviction for breaking this rule. Our max occupancy is 16 total people, children included. This is not a wedding venue. Photography and videography allowed with advance notice.

Please note that our farmhouse is located on a working walnut orchard. We are very considerate of our guests and try to work around your booking as best we can but guests may sometimes see or hear orchard operations. This is just part of the charm!! We harvest the 2nd or 3rd week of October.
