Nice hotel, inconvenient location

A great hotel with friendly staff and excellent facilities. However, it is quite far from the centre of the city, with little of interest in the immediate area. If you are going to do business somewhere near this hotel, it is highly recommended. Otherwise, it is not conveniently located to anything.

Good for Business in the North CQ Region

The Jinjiang Oriental is a very nice hotel. It's far from most tourist destinations, but close to many of the northern businesses. The price is reasonable, breakfast was good but not great, and the bed is comfortable enough, especially after sleeping on a board in Chengdu.

개인적 사정상 이 호텔을 이용하게 되었는데요. 그닥 추천해드리고 싶지는 않습니다. 중경(충징)에 몇 안되는 관광지와 가까운 거리에 위치하는 것도 아니고, 택시기사들이 호텔위치를 잘 몰라서 항상 호텔약도를 갖고 다니면서 보여주었습니다. 다만, 중경의 물가상 택시비가 저렴하기 때문에 저같은 경우에는 모든 일정의 교통수단을 택시를 이용해서 거리대비 만족했습니다. 그러나 이 경우에도 한가지 염두해두어야 하는 것은 중경에서 택시를 잡는 일이 그렇게 쉬운 일만은 아니라는 것입니다. 여행기간 중 택시를 30분 넘게 기다린 적도 있습니다. 호텔의 서비스 수준은 보통이었고, 호텔직원들이 모두 영어를 사용하지 않기 때문에 의사소송이 100% 원활하지는 않습니다. 물론 중국어를 할 수 있다면 전혀 문제될 것이 없구요.^^

Chongqing's best

Great service, great food, a reasonable location and personell who really do care about how they represent their culture, community and company; what more could be desired? I have two categories of hotel, big, like this one, and small, like bed-and-breakfast size. Most of the big ones are impersonal, most of the small ones are too personal. Here there's a very well-engineered mix, providing the best of both, and none of the overbearing feelings of the little b&b family operations. Opulence, interesting room designs, (never quite got used to the glass wall between bath and sitting room in the suite, but we liked it!) and an excellent western breakfast buffet to fuel us every morning, generally a delightful experience. Evenings spent listening to the piano in the lounge were a great way to unwind and reflect on the days' adventures. My overall impressions of the Jinjiang Hotel are all superlative, and I shall be returning whenever justifiable! Moreso, I'm pleased to have the opportuniity to report on such a fine experience, so others may take good advantage and have pleasant experiences there too. Thanks to all!
