The lodge is beautiful, but it has lots of steps and no elevator. Our room was on the third floor and it wore us out going up the steps.

The room need work. Bathroom vent did not work. Wallpaper in room needed repair or to be removed. During our stay restaurant close all meals. Beautiful hotel in Beautiful location. Needed more attention to be great

The hotel has a unique old charm however the front desk staff was rude and not willing to be helpful. Additionally the pool and hot tub were out of order. When asked about plastic utensils, we were told to go to dollar general and buy some as they don’t have anything plastic. The hot water in the room was just above lukewarm. AC filters were so clogged, it significantly slowed any cool air coming in. No elevator and we were placed on the third floor. This hotel has a lot of history and it is cute the way it’s decorated and the bed was comfortable however some of the other negatives outweighed the positives. It was unfortunate because it is located in an awesome area in the mountains.

We stay at this hotel from time to time but this was not a good experience. The room had wet carpet, the wall paper on the walls was sagging, there was only warm water to shower, the hair dryer did not work and the breakfast was cold.

Hot tub/pool repairs

The hot tub and pool facilities are closed for repair. That was a major issue, and part of the reason we booked that hotel. Other than that, great place!
