Best hotel location for historic sites and the staff do try .Exceptional service was provided by Andreaa and her colleague who checked us out at 1pm on Sunday 5th ( Apologies for not committing name to memory ) . There was a great deal of willingness by staff to please guests, but there's scope for improvement and follow through ... Food was disappointingly average and the breakfast buffet failed to inspire. The room was large and covered the essentials, but not much beyond that. Given the room rate, one expects better.

Over priced - and over rated - should not be 5 star / should be 3 star at a push! Staff are friendly and they try hard but unfortunately it appears that they have not had professional customer service training (so not there fault) ...choice of food options for breakfast is awful ... interior very dated. If it was a 3 star hotel and cheaper I would have given it a higher score as it would have been more realistic

Cleaning staff does an amazing job. Professional massage therapy available, great after a long flight. Don’t let the stars fool you. They only deserve them for location and amenities. The hotel is in desperate need of updating paint, furnishings and most importantly... the beds/ mattresses- doesn’t justify the prices. Was not expecting a room with a view given the location, but when your view( also for several rooms along same corridor)consists of a roof that also serves as a dumping ground for old HVAC and furnace doesn’t say much about owners pride in this property. This was a repeat stay(6 years ago) but unfortunately will be the last.

This property is not updated and feels somewhat clean but outdated and worn. The location is not great. I think the pictures and dwelling from the website are misgleading.

Excellent location near the centre of town, big comfortable room, and the jacuzzi and sauna were very much appreciated! Couldn't ask for more.

Living in past glory!

Ended up with an unrenovated room and was ready to walk out in disgust … But front desk saved the situation, with offering me a better room (that had been renovated)! The overall location needs refurbishing (long overdue) and more friendly staff need to be engaged to run the front coffee shop (not angry looking bouncers) … This is barely 3 stars let alone 5! Maybe the area demands that, as it is rough once outside on the street … Sad but the Hotel's glory days are over (it needs refreshing to be saved)!
