Thoroughly enjoyed our second stay at the Corktree Beach House. We spent many hours on the back patio and in the yard watching the hermit crabs, doves and the lizards doing their thing. Walked on the beautiful beach every morning checking out the huge conch shells and other sea treasures that would wash up. Loved the lush garden, snorkeling, and enjoyed the local fare at the Sandbar and Peaches. Being able to exit the back gate and be in the ocean in just a few steps makes this house special. The interior was very comfortable for our family, enough space for everyone to spread out. Highly recommend and hope to visit a third time!

Everything was great, right on the beach, saw humpback whales, Sea turtles, all the locals were very friendly.Unfortunately the washing machine was not working well, and informed Lucy, who took care of it immediately.This is a great location, we rented a golf Cart from Jamael the entire two weeks, explored the entire island, ate at some great places, Great experience!!

We had a wonderful 2 weeks at Corktree Beach House. The home was very clean and had everything we needed to get started. The beach is wonderful and I only saw 2 other people the whole time we were there. Lucy was great and kept in touch with us throughout the stay. Very quiet at that end of the island. Highly recommend to anyone looking.

Nice home on virtually private beach

The property is very private and you can walk from the fenced in backyard area right onto the beach. We had some neighbors but they had their own beach area in front of their house.Lucy and Lisa were always available for questions!

This is a beautiful house on an incredible stretch of beach, with a great kitchen and a golf cart drive away from all the fun spots on Grand Turk. Highly recommend!

Dream beach re-set

This was the perfect, out of the way but still so close, getaway location! The house was very well equipped with everything we could possibly want or need. Getting to it in the dark on the wrong side of the road with donkeys everywhere was an adventure but coming inside felt like home. Our routine was pretty chill for 10 days, We had morning coffee on the beach out front watching the waves and occasional donkey. After stocking up at the IGA we packed lunches and took our rental on an exploration of the island. Lots of hidden gems and wonderful people. Supper was either at the house or at Jack’s Shack, Sandbar or Cakeos Cafe. Movie and games while watching the sunset from the deck. Perfection. The whole purpose of our trip was to go whale watching with Deep Blue Charters with “our” humpback whales. It did not disappoint! Katharine & Kell know where to go and when. We also went out with Jimmy of Wet Money Enterprises snorkeling and swimming with the sting rays. The snorkelling from shore at every beach was a lot of fun too. I had to work during our vacation so stable fast internet was a must. Comfy beds, amble towels and a washer/dryer added to the experience of home away from home. Thank you for sharing your home with us.

Amazing house!

We loved our stay here. The house was amazing. We loved being at the top of island where it is quiet; however still never far from everything else. In a golf cart we could be at the cruise port in 20-25 minutes. We ate breakfast in each morning and cooked in a few nights and everything we needed was in the kitchen. It was wonderful having the grill also. We ended every evening with a few games of pool. We began and ended our vacation sitting out on the beach right outside the fence. We only saw one other person and a few mules and donkeys when we sat there. We brought our own but if we hadn’t there was lots of snorkeling equipment on the back patio. We were so pleased to find a beach umbrella there which we used everyday. Look no further and book this house. We loved our time here and on the island. Everyone was so, so friendly. I would also suggest trying The Fisherman’s Wife for dinner one evening and don’t miss visiting the Turks and Caicos Museum.

Private island retreat

Delightful house with lush greenery all around. We went snorkeling everyday in the backyard. The house is on the Northwest side of the island (a good distance from the cruise center) and we often felt like we had the island to ourselves. We enjoyed the pool table, and the satellite tv delivered. The locals were friendly and easygoing. Groceries and good restaurants were about a 10 minute ride by golf cart. Highly recommend renting a vehicle to get around. Our 10 yr old loved snorkeling off the shore with us (water shoes are a must) and we liked how the reef extended a ways so we could stand up in the water 50 or so feet from the beach. Perfect huge conch shells are everywhere, sea urchins, crabs, parrrot fish, stingrays, sea turtles, saw a nurse shark and whales in the distance. This beautiful house was everything we were looking for! We hope to return someday. Thank you for sharing it with us!

Great house - very private - couldn't be better

This was a great place to stay. Kitchen well stocked with utensils and cooking ingredients and the extra fridge in the pool room was handy. Central air was very comfortable and nice as you don't have to listen to or mess around with room air conditioners. Very private property with no traffic. Beach facing side is somewhat overgrown. There is a really nice deck with table and 6 chairs that we spent much time at. However, the vegetation is so overgrown that you cannot see the water when sitting there - bushes are 8 -10 feet tall along fence. A little maintenance on that part of the yard would make for a fantastic view. I would gladly stay here again - other than the view from the deck this place is absolutely perfect! We were all 100% satisfied.

Quiet Oasis

#6 Corktree Beach House was a perfect place to stay if you want peace/quiet almost private beach

This place was the perfect place to stay on the island. Away from the town and cruise ships, but a short 5-10 minute golf cart ride to almost anything on the island. The beach is almost private and most mornings we walked miles without seeing another person. The house was clean and well equipped with towels and kitchen supplies. We cooked most evening meals at the house and ate out for lunch. Kristien responded within 30 minutes with a new tube for one of the bikes that was bad. She also was a great reference for activities on the island. The house had four bikes, four types of paddle boards and four nice lounge chairs. The entire island was easy to get around and the locals were very nice. We would stay here again. Dean

Corktree beachhouse was a perfect getaway to unplug. Wish we could give 10 stars for communication with Lucy/Nate m- they are awesome. Most of our stay we had the beach to ourselves & enjoyed visiting with the donkeys as they passed by!

Definitely Paradise

Lucy was amazing to work with, responded quickly, and was very helpful. We originally booked this property for June 2022. My husband had unexpected surgery a week prior to our stay. Lucy allowed us to rebook for November 2022 with absolutely no hassle! The house was perfect and the beach was wonderful. Very well equipped with plenty of towels, dishes, laundry detergent, and island information. I asked her where we could get good coffee on the island and she told us to go to the Ridge Cafe at the Aches. This is by far the best coffee I have ever had! Their food and ice cream are also absolutely delicious! We spent a lot of time sitting up there enjoying the view. They also have a swimming pool that is open to the public. Our rental car wouldn’t start the night before we were leaving. Took me over 2 hours to get a hold of the rental company. Lucy was very helpful and told me that she would get us to the airport if we were without a car. That certainly helped relieve my anxiety. Everyone we met on this island was so incredibly friendly and helpful! It was a wonderful relaxing place to stay!

Haven for a Quiet Escape

This is one of the most well-equipped VRBO's I have ever visited, but my kids especially loved the pool table. I enjoyed sitting on the back porch or on the beach at sunset, and my husband loved the huge TV and comfortable couches / chairs in the living room when we were not enjoying the various beaches on Grand Turk. I just wish the property had better lighting, especially in the living room. I had to get some work done while on vacation and it was a bit dark to see well in the evening.

Idyllic

Strongly recommend- overlooks beach, a truly beautiful setting. We enjoyed swimming, beach walls, and using paddle boards and bikes. Lucy very helpful and locals extremely friendly.
