Nothing was right about this hotel, the staff were unhelpful, we were paying for breakfast and asked for it to be charged to our room. Suddenly as we were in the buffet with food on our plates, a staff member ran after us demanding that we pay you front! We had to leave our breakfast go cold whilst we settled the bill!! Unbelievable!!! We asked for an interconnecting room as we were a family of 4 and we were told "not possible". Then when I asked why our room had not been cleaned or our beds made, we were told that the hotel was an "eco" hotel and that they didn't make beds/clean rooms daily! I had to ask twice for clean towels! Honestly! This hotel is rubbish and I wouldn't stay here again... actually I paid for a 4 star and I've had much better service in a 3 star!

The room was clean and comfy. Great view of the cathedral. The bar and bar staff were outstanding. We did not use the restaurant, but it looked very good. A couple of front desk staff could be a bit more friendlier and helpful. The rest of the staff were excellent and we enjoyed our stay.

First night we arrived after unpacking wanted to rest in bed Pull cover of bed and a live insect crawling on the bed sheets Went downstairs showed a video of it She offered to change room which I didn’t feel like repacking after a long flight And no help from anyone Didn’t offer any complimentary breakfast or anything As if nothing happened Also beds very uncomfortable

I have been staying at this Hotel for the past 15 years since it was Intercontinental. Unfortunately this stay was very very bad in all means. House keeping very poor, towels , bedsheets are all old and terrible.

I’ve been staying at Dorint Heumarkt for many years, the property lobby was renovated few years ago and they also renovated the top floors rooms. I was given a room that smelled very bad due to old carpet and old ventilation. When I requested to change the room for a new one they told me that these rooms are all booked. It was uncomfortable staying in smelly old room.
