Likes:-Nice Fireplace-Peaceful-Wildlife (deer and turkeys)Dislikes:-Both beds were uncomfortable and noisy. The front bedroom mattress is so worn that you roll to the center when you try to turn over. Both beds make a lot of noise when changing sleep positions.-The floors were dirty and the carpet is worn and dingy and causes an unpleasant smell in the cabin.-The rear neighbor's dog came on the cabin property to relieve itself. There was dog poop behind the cabin.-The cabinets are cluttered and none are available for guests to use for the food they bring with them.We chose this cabin to celebrate our 45th Wedding Anniversary and we told Kyle this when we booked his cabin. No acknowledgement of this special celebration greeted us upon arrival at the cabin, which was surprising since the owners/managers of every other vacation rental we ever stayed in over the years for special occasions would provide some kind of acknowledgement for the special occasion.We would only return to this cabin if our dislikes are remedied, primarily replacing the mattresses, fixing the noisy bedframes and replacing the worn, dingy carpet.We would've preferred to give a great rating like other reviewers but we need to be honest about our experience.
