The pet friendly room was VERY VERY old, the floor was unstable, the bathroom sink taps leaked - all in all in an absolutely terrible condition, and the extra charge for the pet was excessive although we did agree to the charge (BEFORE we saw the place). We'll NEVER stay there again!

I like staying at the Wagon Wheel as the parking is out the back and you can't hear the trucks on the highway. It's in a beautiful location, you can get a good view of the night sky and the birds in the morning are a lovely wake up call. This is my third stay at the Wagon Wheel, the owners are nice and the beds are comfy.

Being right on the highway, we expected some road noise. But the number of big trucks using their exhaust brakes made sleeping difficult, however we only stayed one night. We dined at the local bowling club which was nearby.
