I enjoyed everything. The only thing that let it down was the lack of bar staff during busy periods. You could be waiting up to 15 minutes to get served.

The phone in the room did not work. We had issues with hot water. Which was thankfully sorted.
As a regular visitor to Cork and Dublin, I always stayed at Maldron. This time as the family travelled with me, I chose to stay and Clayton.
There was inconvenience but it was sorted.
Maybe you should have offered us free breakfast or something to compensate.

Hotel was crowded for an event with paper thin walls and noise from all rooms all night. Hotel looks tired and in need of renovation. The restaurant was over run and staff seemed in short supply and stressed. We were going to eat there but didn't like the look of it and headed to Cork. The price of this hotel does not reflect its standard

My review of my stay
Posted Jan. 9, 2024 on HotelsIts was a lovely hotel. Staff were amazing from check-in to check out. Room was spoiless. Plenty towels. Plenty of tea, coffee, milk and biscuits. The fridge was empty, which i was delighted to see because i like to keep my water cold. I had a freat sleep, the bed seemed hard but as soon as my head hit the pillow, i was out like a light. Will love to go there again and would recommend it to ithers
