Property was exactly as listed. Plenty of room for our family of four. Convently located to Whitecap beach and great amenities onsite too. Property managememt was very friendly and helpful.

Cute, clean, and accommodating for a family of 5. The kitchen has everything you need to cook meals for the family. I love the design of the condo. I gave it 4 instead of 5 stars as we would have appreciated heavier blankets (the provided blankets are just a thicker version of a sheet), and the garage that was advertised is being occupied by the owner's golf cart, which does not come with the rental. You'll see other condo renters being able to park in their garages and you feel a little bummed you can't park in the garage as well.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This unit gives the perfect Whalecome as soon as you walk through the door. The layout is Amazing!!! Perfect location with great amenities to enjoy. The idea of the master suite downstairs gives the best privacy!!!! Kitchen and living room with 2nd bedroom all upstairs is AMAZING!!! This unit is definitely a favorite of ours and we WILL be returning.

Wonderful Home away from Home!

Other than the code not working to get in the house upon arrival (which was resolved within 20 minutes by the awesome management company) our stay was AMAZING! The house was beautiful and spotless! We were all so comfortable and had soooo much fun! Four blocks from the beach and so peaceful. We didn’t want to leave! The amenities on the property were great and the pool with the slide was fun! The yacht club was full of fun games and pickle ball was great! Fun for families and couples alike!!! Recommended the property to friends of ours who are looking to stay there now as well!!! Beautiful home!!

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was more than happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Nice place. Clean. Fairly new appliances and furniture. When you have a car and you look for a place with a garage and then you rent it and find a golf cart parked in the garage its a misleading advert. We rented the unit next door(126) a week before and it had a usable garage so we assumed this unit would but the owners decided to advertise falsely. It was made worse by the cold freeze weather where we had to park outside. No garage was a big disappointment!

Whalecome Inn was dirty

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was very dirty. I was very happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The condo was nice and spacious. Walk softly otherwise the neighbors will hear. Upon arriving we noticed the condo was unclean. Dog hair was still on base boards and floor. We tried to use the vacuum but it was full of dog. And left a huge mound of dog hair when turned on, it was disgusting. As far as the property, the pool was over crowded. The pool restroom was absolutely disgusting, unclean. The second floor of the club house was covered in bugs. When we went up there we immediately ran down and still had bugs on us. The property needed to be sprayed for bugs and mosquitoes. You could not go out on patio without being attacked by mosquitoes. I wish there was a shower by the pool area to wash the sand off, people were getting in the pool to wash off.

Love the unit, public amenities need maintenance

Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This is our 3rd stay at Aruba Bay and Wholesome Inn. We absolutely love the unit and location. Unfortunately, we are disappointed in the overall maintenance of the public amenities. The first year we came, there were organized activities for families (s'mores by the pool, fishing) which we loved and our kids looked forward to, we found out the 2nd year this was no longer happening which was a disappointment. The slide pool, which is one of our main attractions to the Aruba Bay property, is always overcrowded. We usually escape to the other pool for some peace and safety from too many people etc. This year the pools were honestly disgusting to say the least. Both pools waterline tile was disgusting with grime and gunk of which I suspect is sunscreen etc and understand at the beach this is hard to combat however, it looked as though it hadn't been deep cleaned in a very long time. It was uninviting along with the hairballs that were found in the pools and of course the overcrowding just continues to get worse and worse each year. The birds nesting in the slide pool covering and the amount of bird poop on top of the slides is awful and disgusting not to mention the risk of germs and diseases carried by birds. There was missing limestone tiles on the slide pillars and mold and algae growing everywhere. As far as the unit, as previously stated, we love the unit, the furnishing and the household items available are always perfect for our stay and it feels like our home away from home. I did notice this year there is some mold around the air conditioning vent in the living room as you walk towards the bedroom and bathroom. I didn't notice this until the last day but do wonder if it contributed to our daughter starting to have respiratory symptoms by the 3rd day of the trip. We enjoyed our vacation as we found a lot of things to do away from the property but we are not sure we will be back to Aruba Bay or any other properties managed by Padre Escapes in the future.
