We enjoyed our stay. Loved how close it was to the beach. We did have to change rooms due to an issue with the air conditioner and the electrical outlet not working in the bathroom. They were very accommodating and actually upgraded us.

The parking is not great. Guests park their cars there then turn around & park their rented golf carts there too. Not enough parking for that. And no microwave in our room. But the hotel itself was great. Staff was amazing & super friendly! The location couldn't be any better! Right on the beach entrance! It was perfect! I'd recommend this place for sure & I'd book there again!

If you want to be CLOSE TO THE BEACH and have a clean, no frills room --- this is the place for you! Literally 2 mins walk to the beach! But I miss an area to meet with family....no restaurant/breakfast area; no lobby; no real outdoor seating except for the two picnic tables in the sun. CLEAN. UPDATED. and NEAR THE BEACH.

Great and being renovated to be better!

The location of the hotel is what drew me in. We had a very short walk to the beach. The hotel is being renovated but the rooms were great. The hotel staff said there will be a splash pad and a gym added. The pool was small but clean. Will definitely choose to visit again!

When I booked online, I booked with intentions of getting the first floor with wheel chair access. I recently for surgery and still cannot use stairs. The room I originally booked was supposed to be a king bed and two pull outs. I had to change last minute because they did not have any available. Mind you, I had already booked with the intentions having that wheelchair access. Other than that the room was nice. It ended up being a 2 full beds. My 3 daughters, husband and I had to figure it out. It was nice stay over all, just was upset that we did not get what we booked.

Great saty for beach goers.

Stay was a short walk to the beach. There was construction being done to the front but that did not impact my familys stay. Bathroom had a dehumidifier which helped a lot.

Not many breakfast options. Just steps from the beach and this beach is the best in the area. We drove all the way to Padre Island, trying the beaches along the way and turns out the one right outside our place was the best. Can’t beat the location.

The room should have never been rented to me. Room smelled horrible, due to water damages. One of the beds in the room, had sand or construction debris. Draperies had holes, and was put through the rod, therefore, could not be closed properly. The door was hard to open, the key worked; but door wouldn’t open. The shower looked dirty, with stained and hoses looking that needs fixing, and felt like it was going to fall, when taking a shower. No shower gel. No kitchen, as according to the website, rooms have a full kitchen. I was told by manager and staff that those rooms were kitchens, were on the second, and third floors. Those rooms were not what we had booked. I was offered another room on another property, but that room had a broken window.

Best thing about this place is proximity to the beach. The room was not comfortable - the mattresses were bad.The room had a strong smell of some kind of cheap cleaner-overwhelming smell. Shower was dirty, but when front desk was told about the shower the room was cleaned and odor AND shower were resolved! We didn’t eat the breakfast provided so can’t review. Our room was in the back side- dark, under a stairwell. Bathroom outlet didn’t work. I’m not sure what makes this a boutique hotel. Probably won’t be guests again.

The only plus was that it is so close to the beach. The room was damp and humid. We were going to bed feeling sticky. I am easy to please but the fact our towels and swimsuits never dried and our clothes were always damp was it for me
