We, 2 couples, spent 3 nights here and would return or recommend for those looking for a hotel on the beach.
We were in the back building, without kitchen facilities, but had a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. A large jug of water is supplied. The pool is at this building, and unless you have a room on the 3rd floor, won't have a view of the ocean, but that wasn't a priority for us. The alley beside the building is very quiet so no road noise to contend with at night. Bathroom is small. We had use of the beach loungers right in front of the ocean and there was never a problem getting a chair. Beach towels are available at the front desk with a refundable deposit.
Staff here are very efficient, courteous and friendly...in Spanish mostly. Everything was lovely and clean.
Lots of great eating options within walking distance from here..a little place we went for breakfast every morning...on the Main Street heading downtown above Brecko's Dive Shop.
The moment we walked in the gate we knew we had found a place we would go to for years to come! The owners son greeted us on Sunday and was very polite, a complete gentleman and thorough. He showed us around and gave us all the details to get us going. The owners, Sarah and Bob, are THE BEST hosts you will ever find. Helpful, thorough, kind and what they have created in town is beyond all expectations when you are there. The garden with flowers, fruits, turtles, and singing birds is phenomenal, it's true peace. Taking a dip in the pool after being at the beach or in the ocean most of the day is heavenly. The beds and pillows were okay, not the comfiest, but they didn't keep me awake, just wasn't like home. Expected though. A tad bit of noise at night, but we kept the doors open and didn't use the air-conditioner in our room so we could hear dogs barking sometimes and occasionally people hooting and hollaring and music playing, but it was fine, we didn't mind. Having a washer/dryer was paramount for us and we were so thankful for it. The housekeeper came daily, except Sunday, and was so sweet, always kind and made the cutest towel figures on our beds each morning. Coming back to a clean room was awesome. Whenever we needed a cab ride or help finding something they would come and call a cab for us, which was super helpful. Tips on where to eat, when to go and what to eat was an added bonus which we appreciated immensely too. We never used the tv but they have one
