Everything about this resort was amazing.. the food the drinks the cleanliness how luxurious it is the rooms are big and clean and the view was the best!!!! The staff is very friendly and accommodating and because of all of this… my family and I will be definitely be coming back.

As a retired Air Force veteran and current Air Force civilian worker, the hotel staff were very professional and courteous. The hotel was very quiet and clean. Attention to detail is very noticeable for myself and the Ocean Resort displayed that quite well.
I will be booking my next reservation for Biketoberfest.

This is probably the nicest hotel you will find on Daytona Beach. That being said, Daytona Beach is the most ghetto beachtown I have been to in the U.S. The seawall in front of the hotel is still damaged, and it doesn't appear that anyone is working on it. The building immediately to the north was under construction, but nobody is working on it presently. There are a lot of vacant lots and properties in DB, and not a lot to choose from in the way of restaurants/bars unless you like chains. So if you MUST stay in Daytona Beach, this hotel isn't a bad one at all, but if I were you, I would pick a completely different destination. It is very plain to see that the city quit investing in this part of town years ago.

Dear guest, while we very much appreciate taking the time to praise our beautiful hotel, we kind of take giving us an average rating for your outlook on the city and beach construction (which we have no control over) not really an accurate reflection on the service we provided which appears to be without complaint.We would greatly appreciate providing feedback directly to the city and county which have authority over developments, projects and other businesses so they can review their practices. Great service and staff. Nice rooms. Goofy little old hotel property in front. Limited load and unload space at main entrance.
