The view was absolutely amazing from the balcony. The building itself was a bit rundown, but nothing seemed unsafe. Elevator was noisy which had us nervous but it worked just fine. The room was quite clean, however, the bathroom also showed quite a few giveaways that the building is old. Dusty in a lot of places in the room also, but we mainly wanted a quiet clean bed to rest up. The beach view was a huge bonus. Overall, it was a great stay and we would stay here again even with the flaws we noticed and mentioned.

Stains all over the curtains, stains all over the table, maggots on the floor and in the bathroom, hair in tub/drain and bathroom sink, bed bugs literally right on the pillows. This was one of the worse experiences I've ever encountered in a motel or hotel EVER. The door to the "shared" kitchen didn't lock from the inside, crumbs in the cabinets, there was absolutely no cleanliness standards at this place. So disappointing because it was expensive for being this level of disgusting and being right on the beach they should really fix these things. Hopefully we get our money back because this was lawsuit horrible and I took plenty of pictures and videos. People get sick and disease because of things like this and they didn't even seem to care. Oh, and the front desk nobody was there to even check me out after 10 minutes of checking in. Never again, they couldn't pay me to go back to this area. So sad for Daytona beach area

Great view 6th floor suite but roaches in room

Decided to stay a night in Daytona Beach and I found this place rooms look pretty cool in the picture so I gave it a shot. I got 6th floor suite on Monday night and the rate was decent great views of the ocean but one major problem my wife and I went to bed and 20 minutes later she screamed and she said something big just crawled across her face, so I hurried and turned on the light and sure enough there was two big cockroaches one on the floor one on the bed I was able to kill one of them, but the other got away, so I did a whole sweep of the hotel room and I found 3 small bugs what looked like to be a tick.. so I took a picture of them and chat. GPT said they were baby cockroaches. I called the desk around midnight to let them know. There was a roach infestation and no one answered. My wife was terrified from the bugs. She didn’t sleep all night and kept me up all night. I informed the front desk about it when I left in the morning and I was informed management would call me and they never did. I will never stay at this property again. I did see other reviews saying there’s cockroaches found.

The Ormond Beach suite 1610 was so spacious. Very clean and very comfortable. The views of the beach and sunrise from the room were beautiful. We had a great stay and definitely will rent that room again.

We have stayed here many of time and have enjoyed each and every stay. The staff have always acted as they were pleased to have us there. We celebrated my fiancé's 50th Birthday 2 yr ago with aprox 20 people. The adjoining rooms were great and all in all, all the rooms are very spacious. The beach front rooms have beautiful views and are well kept up with up to date décor. And to top that particular stay off, the staff was very accommodating for the entire stay. Even the convenience is worth mentioning. Across the street is a shopping center with a grocery store and even a liquor store. I highly recommend staying here.

The a/c leaked and our carpet was wet for all of our 5 nights stay. They brought a fan in to dry the carpet and it did not do the job and when we left this morning the ceiling was turning black in places do to mold or mildew.

My family of five booked a seven day stay here in one of the most expensive rooms. Upon arrival, there was no AC in our room took several hours to get us transferred into a room the size of a hospital room when we booked a ginormous room. Was promised our AC would be fixed by the second day and we would be transferred back to our room that did not happen if we were stuck in the smaller room for a second day there is a older lady as a manager there that promised us a refund for the first day And half of the second day now she is refusing to apply it.

The booked was done last minute, the front desk people were really nice, they need to take better care for cleanness, even knowing the weather doesn’t help we had some cockroaches inside the room.
