The Expedia description is a little off. The “King Executive Suite” is just a bed room with a king bed. Nothing suite or executive about it. Front desk dude blamed Expedia on description. We even asked if we had the correct room. Nothing to complain about. Nice, historic hotel within walking of cute downtown. Very friendly bartender and bar.

Overall just OK
Clean, yes, King bed was old and sagged, heating/cooling was impossible to adjust, no restaurant or buffet for breakfast (on a Monday morning). Even if a US president had stayed there before, it was not a pleasant stay.

What a beautiful hotel! It was decorated beautifully for the holidays! We enjoyed a tasty drink in the lounge, and were able to walk to restaurants and shops nearby.
