How close is Divine Inn Hotel to downtown New Delhi?
I enjoyed my stay at the Divine Inn Hotel. My room was spacious, clean & comfortable. Best of all, the bed was very comfortable! Most of my stay, the weather was mild, so I left the balcony door open & enjoyed the cool air. Perfect sleeping weather! I did use the air conditioner a couple nights when it was a bit warmer & it worked beautifully. I found the staff to be very courteous, attentive & helpful. They noticed & remembered my preferences & patterns. The included breakfast is very basic, but Iâm a picky eater, sticking to plain foods, so toast (w/butter & jam), bananas, cereal, hard boiled eggs, omelette to order, & juice - this was a perfect way to start my day. There was also a few more items that were traditional Indian food, but I never tried them. I did not try room service or eat lunch/dinner at the hotel, so I canât comment on that. As a solo female traveler, I always felt safe & secure at the hotel. There is a small grocery store across the street & a mini fridge in the room, which was very convenient. Please note, there is a lot of street noise. Horns honking, loud music, fireworks, lots of noise. I have the ability to tune out noises & can sleep through almost anything, but light sleepers should be prepared with earplugs. I would happily stay here again!
