Sounding Seaside Resorts: very poor service

We booked our room which was facing another building of the same establishment but that building was under renovation. This resulted in us not being able to enjoy our balcony with ocean view as the balcony and the chairs were always filled with dust from the adjacent building. Our room was very old, smelly and should not be rented out. We were totally dissatisfied with the service as employees did not seem to care at all - even more so, we were very surprised that hotels.com did not inform us on the state of the hotel.

The property was extremely clean and well apportioned.

Vacationers beware: the 1BR units are not as they are pictured online. The staff blames Expedia as a "third-party vendor" for the misrepresentation. The 1BR units are NOT 2-story in design as pictured. They are instead a cramped divided space, clean and appointed with small appliances, however, quite a puzzle for how 3-4 people might relax together. Sadly, the walls are pretty thin and we could hear above us a couple fighting where our "upstairs" should have been. We got the sense that Bluegreen Properties is not about to correct the details depicted on others' websites. It was even hard to tell on their own webpage!

Amazing room with a view!
