Rooms and building are really nice, ive stayed here a few times, always good. I can only assume that their B&B business us not top priority, the drinks bar only offer bottled options and the bar menu was very basic this time, this was a shames the food was normally teally good.

Hi David, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. Our busier bars do still serve draught beers but the decision was made to switch to bottled beers in our hotel bar. The bar is often quieter and so this decision was taken to ensure that the product is always served in top condition.The hotel dining menu is reviewed and changed on a regular basis, we try to offer something for everyone and are regularly complimented on the quality, I apologise if there was nothing on the menu to your liking during your stay.We do hope that you will stay with us again.

Property is unique and has obvious qualities - my room was older and very average - breakfast was inconsistent in quality (over cooked) and not offered/ Presented in the best way - ( eg toast on the same plate as cooked food, no side plates or sign of jam or marmalade...)

Hi Meryl, thank you for taking the time to leave us a review. We take all feedback onboard whether good or bad. I have passed your comments regarding breakfast over to our Head Chef. Our farmhouse breakfast is served with toast on the plate. On request we serve a rack of toast which comes with a side plate. Jams, honey and marmalade are always available on the buffet along with all of the cereals, yogurts, fruit and juices so I am sorry that you missed those. Comfortable and good location
Publié le 30 juin 2023 sur HotelsVery handy as we were flying from East Midlands the next day. Planes do fly directly over but didn’t disturb our sleep. Great staff and nice cooked to order breakfast. Had dinner as well which was also pretty good. We were able to buy some of the local venison to take home with us which was a very nice surprise
