Sandpiper Cove Studio

The location felt very safe and family friendly. We loved the direct access to the pool and the quick walk to the beach. The condo was a good size for the three of us. It was fairly outdated and in need of updates. The Murphy bed was very old and uncomfortable and the pull out bed in the couch was broke.

This was perfect for just my husband and I for a quick weekend getaway. Other than the bed, the property was amazing. The bed was bad. We plan on staying here again at a larger condo with our kids.

Great place for family of 4!!

Perfect sized studio for our family of 4. 2 minute walk to the beach and pool steps from our condo. Condo was clean, but dated. Both beds absolutely need to be replaced. Both were VERY loud when anybody would move. We made it work but that would be a easy update for the owner to do. We would come back to Sandpiper Cove but we will rent a larger unit next time. Thanks!!

Everything good except the bed

The condo was in typical condo shape, had some blinds messed up,cieling had a hole scraped on it, back door locked with a piece of wood. Etc. Just stuff your going to run into with a rental.none of that was any issue, But the comfort of the beds was totally crazy, you will see it in other reviews but they are right. Super uncomfortble and noisey. But that is my only complaint. Location was great, beach access great, neighborhood great.

Property is in no condition to be rented

Worst bed ever, listen to the reviews. I assumed after so many complaints it would have been replaced but I was wrong. The unit desperately needs a fresh coat of pant. It smells very old inside. The closet door fell off when I was looking for pillows. There were only 2 pillows and they were lacking comfort. The unit has very poor lighting. The couch was terribly stained and gross. The chair and decor was cute. The outdoor furniture was all rust so I did not use it, it would be nice if there was a cushion for the outdoor seating. Close walk to the beach and the restaurant on site was very good. Main reason I book on VRBO is bc you don’t have to physically check in, not the case with this property! This property uses the management system of the complex and they require physical check in between 8a-5p (not listed in the description). For someone who had fishing charters and vacation plans this was very inconvenient! This property overall is nothing like the description. Management’s solution was for me to book a different property but I would not get a refund on my stay at this one. Basically pay for two junk properties but get my security deposit transferred.

I loved this room, it was absolutely adorable. Very clean and organized. I was hesitant at first since many people complained about the bed and though it does creak I didn’t have any issues whatsoever and slept like a baby. Not to mention the property is across the street from the beach, easily accessible.

So close to the beach I could hear it !! Also walking distance to my favorite local coffee shop (capriccio coffee) . The place was cute and quaint the only complaint was the bed but other then that would absolutely rent here again .

Everything was Great, except for the closet bed. It was noisy and very uncomfortable. We ened up putting the hide-a-couch mattress under the other mattress, but it still wasn't Great! If you have back problems, you don't want to sleep on this bed. Other than that, it is a nice cute studio with most everything you might need for your stay.

The resort property was nice and the location to the beach was great! The condo its self needs some updating. The Murphy bed was very uncomfortable! The couch bed wasn't good either. The closet door was off the hinges and had a hole in it. There were a lot of small things that need updated. We enjoyed the beach!

The property has a great location and access to the beach. Just make sure you bring everything you need to start off because there is no paper towel, sponge, little shampoo bottles, or salt which are usually things I find in the places I have rented before. I would stay there again. The guys at the front gate were super friendly and it felt pretty safe.

All was well besides the screen door was broken and couldn’t let wind come thru the unit and the bathtub s was clogged and you stood in water everytime you showered. Couldn’t enjoy the big tub and shower. Kids couldn’t take a bath only a shower. Made the bathroom feel gross. Otherwise great stay.

Good enough

You get what you pay for. This unit is one of the cheaper ones in a great area. It is small, but has everything you need for a visit to Destin. Great location! Perfect for a couple or a couple with little kids. I wouldn't put 4 adults in here though. Lots of retired people and families. This is not a party location. There were little kids everywhere. Walking distance to the beach. Very safe. If you expect your rental to be lots of space and fit your every need, look at more expensive units.

Oddly nice and convenient

It’s a strangely nice place. I don’t know ho to explain it. It was dated but, they give you private beach access so that trumps the older style studio. Everything worked as far as A/c and plumbing. No pests or anything like that. Plus pool access, but it closes at 10pm. We would definitely stay there again.
