Terrible service

We checked in, went to our room, unloaded our luggage and found out the toilet did not work. A maid came to the room and she tried to fix it. It was broken. She told us that we would get a new room. My husband went up to get the new room and Alex laughed at him and proceeded to take four other customers. He told her we had a reservation that we couldn’t be late for. We checked in an hour and a half early and we had to leave. Why we weren’t taken care of is beyond me. So we left, called Hotels.com to get a refund and that wasn’t taken properly as we found out the next day. We want a FULL refund. This was the worst customer service we’ve ever encountered.

Our go to hotel

We have been staying here for the last 17 years when we come to visit family. The bed is so comfortable! We always sleep well. The hotel has been remodeled, since we were last there, and they did a great job. The employees are friendly and provide great service.

The room was nice, but the front staff and managers were borderline incompetent..not only did it take more than 30 minutes to check in, but after agreeing to a contract for a block rate for rooms for our wedding, most of our guests still had to pay full price, even though they booked through the website link provided by the hotel and before the deadline. Multiple rooms didn't completely close or lock and we were harassed by an older angry and aggressive "security guard" for merely being outside after hours mingling. The breakfast was probably the best part, but I definitely would not recommend anyone staying here unless absolutely necessary. And if you did have to stay here, don't expect much beyond the bare minimum.
