I stayed at the Siren Hotel recently during a business trip, and it was such a cute, unique spot. As a first-timer in Detroit, I'm glad I stayed here. The lobby gives a cozy, vintage vibe and I especially loved having breakfast and matcha at the Siren Cafe in the lobby each day. Delicious and convenient! I didn't get a chance to enjoy the restaurant and cocktail bars downstairs, but they looked cool and were bustling with guests even on a Sunday and Monday night. I had the "Chamber" room which was the perfect size for a solo traveler, although pretty minimal. There's no desk, table, or chair in there (apart from the bench by the window), so if you plan on working in the room, you might be better off in the lobby or one of the outdoor tables in front of the hotel. WiFi was fast in the room and lobby. The walls and curtains in the room are a bit thin, so you might want to bring ear plugs or an eye mask if you're sensitive. (I didn't hear any other guests during my stay though, just housekeeping in the hallway). When I arrived at 4pm, they assigned me a room but when I got upstairs the door was open and housekeeping was about to clean it. They had to reassign me, which was totally OK but maybe call ahead to double-check if you're running on a tight schedule. For parking, you can do valet or park in one of the decks across the street. It was safe and lots of options. Price was definitely steep but I would stay here again in the future.
