Property needs exterior lighting improved. Only one parking lamp and it was surrounded by work trucks. Reception suggested I park at rear near my room but it was dark and desolate. Halls had mud on carpet which I tracked in to my room. Not the fault of the hotel as most of the guests are workers who come in muddy.

Our room had a wall view. To the right you could see stairs and people smoking at a picnic table. The floor was very uneven throughout the suite. Walls were damaged and beds were not that comfortable. Positive note is that the shower was very powerful and had nice settings. Both the night and morning receptionists were very nice.

It was quite run down and not very fresh. The more you looked, the more grime and stains you saw on the walls and everywhere. I did not sleep good while I was there.

I chose this hotel because the nightly rate was more reasonable than many others I had considered. It is basic, has a comfortable bed, breakfast was good (a typical hotel breakfast room). There are three floors and no elevator. I was glad to just have one small overnight bag! Room fixtures are older, the room I was in needs new taps in the basin and new drain in the tub. The outdated clock radio beside the bed did not work but hadn't been removed from the room. No instructions to operate the TV. Dog barking down the hall at 11pm was very annoying! Housekeeper vacuuming outside my room at 7:30am was also annoying!
