Overall pretty happy with the experience the property served our group well for our trip to Drumheller. Close to town and plenty of space. Would likely stay again. The host was fast to respond to messages and seems quiet friendly.However there are a few things that caused me to drop the overall rating down to three stars. All of which could be addressed easily for future guests. -No propane for the BBQ. Both tanks were left empty, had to make a trip to the gas station to exchange a tank, which I paid for. -Many of the windows were broken. Once opened, they couldn't be closed with out removing the screen and manually pulling the window closed. -No coffee machine? Ended up going to Walmart and purchasing a 16 unit and leaving it there for the next person. -One of the couches in the main living room had a broken leg when we got there, seem odd to have that be the case. -Batteries in the remote for the main TV were dead, another item we dealt with ourselves.

This was the perfect place for our family of 8 for 3 days. We had a couple of questions on the first day which were immediately dealt with by the host. The house was clean, roomy and we enjoyed the BBQ, the ping pong table and the games that were available. The location was great; close to everything we wanted to do. Would definitely recommend this home.

Wedding Destination

Property worked perfectly for our needs. Our daughter was married in Drumheller and the immediate family was able to stay under one roof 
.. awesome!!! Beds comfy; lots of space. Sun Room worked great for hair and make up sessions haha Grandkids loved the ping pong and space to play. Close to a playground and dogs allowed!! Thank you Luisa

Dino delight

Hostess was fabulous giving instructions on entry into property. There was grass clippings and dirt in the main entrance upon entering but the remainder of the home was very clean. We should have asked for more specifics about where all 12 of us would sleep but we finally found 2 inflatable mattresses under the stairwell with duvets and pillows ( no bed sheets or pillow cases). The large inflatable mattress has a small leak which we informed the hostess about. Dining table is seated for 6 but we moved a small table and two iron chairs from outside to help with seating. An expandable table would be helpful for more than 6 people with extra folding chairs. Popcorn, coffee salt and pepper and sugar were readily available. Extra garbage bags and a dishcloth would also be helpful. Beds were very comfortable with soft duvets. Location was great to walk to the kids park and the drive to the Tyrrell museum was only 5 min away. The Fossil museum is permanently closed. Definitely a wonderful home away from home. Thank you L.

Perfect house

Beautiful property, exactly as described in the ad. High quality linens and many amenities thoughtfully included (even sunscreen, bug spray, extra towels,

Spacious and comfortable

Luisa’s home is a delight, comfortably furnished and with plenty of space for ten people and a dog. We enjoyed the large grassy yard and deck, and the two levels, almost like separate suites, which give alternative spaces for people to gather. We especially appreciated the location, which is in a quiet community half way between the downtown and the Royal Tyrrell Museum. There is a walking/running/cycling path less than a block away, which follows the Red Deer River, winds into a wooded part of the provincial park, and eventually through the badlands to the Museum itself (though only our best runners made it that far!). The rest of us saw deer and a beaver on our dog walks. Definitely we enjoyed our stay and would seek it out for another larger gathering. Thanks, Luisa!

Our stay was comfortable and the home is very nice. I'm not sure if the cleaners are taking short cuts, but we did have a few issues regarding cleanliness, that we will address with the owner, as we feel maybe they are not aware. otherwise a great stay!

Dino Weekend

Overall our trip was great! Our family (12) had lovely time at the house. There was lots of room for everyone to hangout. We didn’t feel crowded at all. The neighbourhood was extremely quiet and felt very safe. The location is very close to the Royal Tyrell Museum and several hiking trail heads. There is a small playground a block away that was nice for our young children. We would stay here again :)

Wonderful!

We can’t say enough about how great this property is and how much lovely space it offered for our group. It was very clean and well stocked for all the things we needed. Awesome and fun ping pong table and back yard too! Super location for the Museum as well and the nearby cafe/cinnamon bun place. Finally, Luisa is very responsive and obviously an excellent caretaker of her home.
