Would rate as average. Lacking things that could have made stay better (paper towels, kleenex, broom, bigger trash can in kitchen). No instructions for appliances, etc. Poor lighting in some rooms. Small rooms. Staff was friendly and helpful. No tram as advertised (out of service) but close to bus stop. Grocery store close. Bar in restaurant but never saw it open. No ice available in hotel.

It was adequate for our stay but certainly not great. First, it’s relatively far from most areas tourist would want to see, costing $25-30 for most taxi rides. Second, it was more of an efficiency than hotel. Had to specifically request cleaning service as it is not offered routinely. Had to go to front desk to get TP as not routinely stocked. There is a bar but never saw it open.

Poor value for money.

Location is great for 3 Arena events. Plenty of eateries. Room was nice. Austere and industrial design. Lovely bathroom. Using rainwater for flushing. Low bed. Not the easiest to get in and out of. Had to wait 40 odd minutes to get breakfast served. Breakfast wasn’t great. Coffee nice but it was finished long before our fries arrived. Tried to get more coffee but to no avail. Had to ask several times to get water. Doubt I would ever pay for breakfast there again. Certainly wasn’t value for money.

Pros: Room was spacious and had a Combo washing machine/dryer. It was right next door to 3 Arena so very convenient to walk to/from concert. Cons: bed is on an oversized platform making it difficult to get up and down to the bed. The Lucas tram service was interrupted for several weeks due to a fire along the line so it took much extra time and effort to get to sites in the heart of Dublin.
