Apartment Bete in the heart of the old town of Dubrovnik

Apartment Bete is situated in the center of the Old City, close to the main street Stradun in a small side street, on the first floor, so hardly any steps.
It was renovated last year and decorated with a lot of care and charm to give you the feeling of the old Dubrovnik we all wish to capture with antique furniture and crystal chandelier.
It has big windows that bring a lot of light in the room​ , on-suite bathroomwith shower​, cooking facilities
​ with a 2 ring cooker, fridge with freezer, kettle and toaster. Plenty of cutlery and crockery​.
There is ​a sofa to relax on after a long day of sightseeing
​ or can be comfortably pulled out to sleep a third person​
​ at a small extra charge.It is equipped with ACC, WiFi and SAT TV.
Its location invites you to effortlessly explore Dubrovnik and and all its beauties. The closest place of interest is Franciscan monastery with the oldest European pharmacy from 1317 and Onofrios fountain with drinking cold water is nearby. The main entrance to explore the City walls is there to so you can start your magnificent journey of exploring at your doorstep.
Bars and restaurants are just few steps away, but the windows are facing a street without any so that you can get a good night sleep afterwards.

We were met at the airport on time and then taken up to our apartment by the host and given lots of information about the area as well as recommendations for restaurants etc. The apartment was in a fantastic location and was perfect for our stay.

Stay in old town

Great location , easy to find, nice to have tea to drink, unfortunate break down in communication concerning pick up at airport, but lots of taxis available so not really a PO problem. Would stay again.

Great Old town location

Convenient efficient place for your Old town experience. Comfortable bed, and air conditioning. Shower was hot and had good water pressure. Host was responsive and helpful. I would definitely use again and recommend it to others.

The location is very central in the Old Town. But a few other issues spoilt the stay: 1. The shower is hand held! Why not install a bracket on the wall to hold it. 2. The beds creak so it is difficult to get a good nights sleep. 3. The exhaust fan across the laneway is very noisy. 4. The towels are like coarse sandpaper- after I complained, I did receive towels that were a little better.

Ok stay, would not stay again.

Maybe we should of known what we were getting into by the pictures. Here are the four major issues. In retrospect,I should of complained about two during my stay : 1. There is an industrial fan right outside the window that produces a constant noise that caused us to keep the windows shut. 2. The couch was a disgrace. It was lumpy, the springs that you could feel when you sat on it "squeaked". I expect that the slip cover hid a lot of issues. 3. The lock configuration was such that I could not leave my wife alone and lock the door. If I did that she would be stuck there in case of a fire, etc. Back up keys would of helped. 4. last issue was the hot water was dangerously hot. It is an accident waiting to happen.
