This 4 star apartment sleeps 4 (+2) persons is ideally situated close to the old town of Dubrovnik in a very quiet closed street. In the heart of Dubrovnik (just 5 minutes walk away from the Dubrovnik's main street Stradun), fully equipped apartment with all amenities for comfortable stay with the panoramic view at some of the Dubrovnik Old Town's famous Walls and Fortresses, and with beautiful view at the Dubrovnik's island Lokrum.

Our panoramic 4-star apartment is fully furnished with all the appliances for comfortable stay and includes a separate spacious private terrace with barbeque, a great place for breakfast, lunch or dinner with amazing views on the sea and the Old Town. The 4-star apartment has 2 balconies, a private terrace with barbeque and the appliances for the preparation of the meal outdoors.

The town location is residential, very green and quiet, at only 10 minutes walk distance from the Old Town with the tourist area which is dynamic and lively.
From the 10th of July until the 25th of August, you can enjoy in the Old Town the Dubrovnik Summer Festival. It is a festival of traditional and classical music and theatre of international fame. Famous performers as RamĂłn Vargas, Julian Rachlin, Denyce Graves, Leo Nucci and Cristina Gallardo DomĂąs have all been guests of this festival.

A super place close to old Town. Everything you need to feel at home- sweet touches abound. Spectacular view from balcony off the kitchen. Quiet, too. Ta-Ta cafe right up the road with bakery right next door. And, grocery right next door, too! Be prepared to climb 130 steps to get to this sweet place. Good warm up for the many walks to and around old town.

Dubrovnik Beauty

If yo want 2 bed 2 bathroom with magnificent views this is the place to go. Bus at the door step, cafe/ restaurant and bakery within 100 m and a short stroll down hill to the old town. Even though the walk back up is tuff even our group of over 80,s seniors made it every day and if the opportunity arose we certainly would go back to this apartment.

Charming Apartment

This was an excellent location to explore Dubrovnik. It was close to all the cool stuff, but was also a great place to rest and recharge away from the crowds. The hosts were fantastic and very attentive. And we loved the cats!

The most incredible view from a property than I have ever had! Rooms were large - 2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms, well-equipped kitchen. Matilda was very friendly and helpful. There are many steps throughout Dubrovnik and some more to get to the apartment, but the panoramic views of the city from this location are worth it!

Wonderful Apartment with Magnificent view of Old Town Dubrovnik

Excellent accommodations, fully stocked kitchen. Matilda is a very gracious and responsive hostess. This home is nestled above the Old city with porches that provide a febulius view. The yard is beautiful. Dubrovnik is a city of hills, so there are steps to climb everywhere. Once you descend though you can walk to Polce Gate without encountering any stairs. We would love to return and stay at this same apartment. Thank you for sharing your home.

Beautiful views

This is a lovely apartment. Out group of 5 had plenty of space. We stayed for 8 days. It was great to be able to wash clothes, cook, and just lay about. The view is spectacular. We spent many hours on the balcony. The hosts were very friendly and responsive.Our only real issue was the steps to the apartment. Obviously any place with a magnificent view is going to require walking up some steps. We, however, were a group all over 70. There are about 100 steps to the apartment. That was difficult for us. I am sure that a younger group would have no problem, since the steps are shallow and spread out. But, our group had several with bad knees and hips. I would recommend that this be put in the listing.

Highly Recommend!

Matilda is the most gracious host and takes a lot care and pride to make sure your stay is easy and enjoyable. The location is ideal if you appreciate spectacular views (see photos from the balcony below), ready access to groceries, and close proximity to Old Town and transportation for your other adventures. Cannot recommend Matilda or this property more highly.

First trip to Croatia

I booked this apt due to the great reviews. They were there upon arrival to greet us and showed us around the apt, views are spectacular but you'll walk about 140 steps up to get here. Well worth it! I would very much recommend staying here when visiting Dubrovnik

A wonderful stay.

Matilda met us in the middle of a downpour, she guided us to her apartment and explained everything to us. Besides being very warm and cozy inside she also made us all a hot cup of coffee which was very appreciated on the chilly, wet night. We had a wonderful 3 night stay in her comfortable apartment, it was a bit of a climb from the old town but the view from the balcony was worth every step. She answered all of our questions promptly and made arrangements for our transportation to the airport. If we come back to Dubrovnik we will choose Matilda’s apartment again. Thank you so much for sharing it with us.

Magical stay in Dubrovnik

Overall an incredible stay. The view of dubrovnik and location (short walk to old town) were awesome. Matilda and Niky are super nice. Fyi for first time Dubrovnik visitors: check-in is very tricky because the aprtment is not on a main street so be sure to have a good check-in plan agreed to with the host before you arrive.

Unique and beautiful property.

This property was beautiful. The views were outstanding and the hosts were kind enough to let us check in early and meet us at the road. The apartment was nicely decorated and very clean. We would definitely stay there again if we come back.

Matilda and Niky were lovely hosts, very welcoming. The apartment was clean and comfortable. There are quite a few steps down to the old town, which was fine, but going back was a work out for us oldies 😄 Dubrovnik is one to tick off your list!!

Priceless getaway overlooking Dubrovnik!

This place has an incredibly fantastic view overlooking Dubrovnik and the Mediterranean Sea! The hostess and her husband were extremely friendly and greeted us upon our arrival. She had champagne and cheesecake to our wonderful surprise! She and her husband were very responsive to our needs! Spectacular view and beautiful apartment!

The location of this home was perfect! Close to Old Town and the view and the balcony was amazing! Several steps to get up to the apartment, but it was absolutely worth every step. Great place from which to explore Dubrovnik

This is a very nice apartment to use as a base to explore Dubrovnik. The bedrooms, bathrooms and kitchen are all very nicely appointed with high quality appliances and furnishings. The best part is the balcony that overlooks the Fortress and Adriatic sea. Great place to sit and relax to both start and finish the day. Matilda is a great host. She is very nice, but just as importantly, she was very helpful to us during our stay. She also provided some very nice treats upon our arrival (thank you Matilda). Yes, there are stairs, but its Dubrovnik - there are hundreds of stairs no matter where you go. The stairs are not an impediment.

Absolutely perfect

The property is beautifully laid out, spacious, clean, quiet a/c, magnificent views from every window of the old town and the sea. There are also two balconies where we spent many hours looking at the sea and old town. It is equipped with everything you need for a comfortable, convenient stay. It had two large bathrooms with is a bonus. It is quiet and the bedrooms are big with comfortable beds. Matilda lives in the same building so is easy to access if any issues arise (which they didn’t). Our only complaint is the excessive amount the young man charged to carry our bags up the stairs. We weren’t aware that he expected 30 euros. So we took our own bags down when we left. Lots of stairs but we had no trouble managing them. We loved our stay and would highly recommend.

Great location, gorgeous views

The location was a short climb down to the old city of Dubrovnik and the views were fabulous. The apartment was clean and modern, and Matilda was kind and helpful. Just know that there are a LOT of steps. So if you can’t climb over 300 stairs, find another place. But if you can, it is totally worth it.

Beautiful, comfortable, immaculate

Superbly furnished, immaculately clean 2-bedroom apartment with stunning view overlooking the historic city center of Dubrovnik. Getting up and down to the city itself requires going up or down nearly 300 steps, but only takes 10 minutes if you are in decent shape and wear decent shoes, and is very much worth it. Matilda, the property manager, was friendly, accommodating, and responsive. Would gladly return!
