Location was ideal for my purposes and surroundings are very pleasant. As a lone traveller I chose a small double room but this was at second floor level and had sloping ceilings which was inconvenient for a person of my height. Electric shower was not great, difficult to control temperature. Staff pleasant but could do with a bit more "zip"

Is ok

The updated rooms are really nice. The older ones need updating. You get charge extra to use the leisure suite which I don’t agree with. Breakfast is ok. If it’s not buffet you get 1 of each item which I feel it makes it not worth the £12.50.
