Beautiful property!! Amazing service and stay

The stay was absolutely amazing and so unique, the property is so gorgeous and spacious for our group and so private with no one else nearby. The living areas outside are so relaxing and the spaces gets great sunlight all around the island! The housekeeper and boat captain are so nice and helpful. My family loved the outdoor games, hammock, and there’s a great low wading area so close to the island that’s fantastic to swim in during high and low tide and is CRYSTAL clear. The pool is also heated and was so wonderful after swimming in the ocean.

Paradise

It is hard to describe what a wonderful place Middle Cay is. Our family of 13 (8 adults and 5 children ages 5-8) just spent the best week ever there. This island offers everything but especially Mother Nature in all of her glory. The accommodations were perfect, when in the main house you felt like you were on a boat. The staff was excellent, the food delicious and having the boat was a major plus. The children went out on it every day, Vincent (the captain) took them to so many special places, swimming with turtles, swimming with stingrays, snorkeling on shipwrecks, tubing and just finding starfish. On the island we kayaked with a manatee and sea turtles. The little ones caught lizards and had hermit crab races. I feel like I have only touched the surface of this amazing island. Sonal, the owner is great to work with! There were lots of tears when it was time to leave, we all wanted to stay forever! Memories of a lifetime

We all had a terrific time! The property was beautiful, really gave the island feel! The staff was excellent as well,very friendly and professional!!! The property will not disappoint you!! It was one of our top family vacations!!

Absolutely perfect

Group was me, my husband, two 8 year old sons, my brother, his wife and their 17yo and 13yo. The property has gorgeous views in all directions, lush vegetation, and the island is large and spread out. For two families traveling together with kids of different ages, the two (very nice) houses setup was super helpful. The biggest surprise about the island was the wildlife in the cove b/t the island and Eleuthera - many manatees would swim up let you scratch their backs that everyone would rush to the kayaks/paddle boards/snorkeling gear whenever they could to say hi to our new friends. For activities off island the boat captain took us out a bunch of times and we went tubing, looked at the sea turtles and other wildlife, saw the pigs on Spanish Wells, anchored on a beach off Eleuthera to swim and look for sea biscuits, snorkeling, or just to go for short boat rides. The staff was excellent and friendly and would help us with anything we needed. The chef made delicious restaurant quality meals (I know where she trained so not surprised). The proximity to Harbour Island is a great bonus bc it's a five minute ride across - we went to lunch at one of the beach hotels once while kids played on pink sands and one night went to dinner in town, the boat would wait and you'd text and boom you're home. The owner was v communicative on a group WhatsApp chat that included the house manager, anything we needed we got. In conclusion, a wonderful stay and I'd love to go back.

Great location, questionable staff and charges

What a beautiful vacation with wildlife we had. All the places we visited and all marine life were amazing. Beautiful beaches. That part was truly amazing. The property is def in need of renovations and repair. Pool filtration not working, sparking electrical wires outside during rain, electrical issues with lights dimming, a small building falling apart with items strewn about around it, rusted out canoe, kayaks missing oars, promised activities unavailable, leaking air conditioners in home causing slip hazards, broken floor tiles, stained floors, broken trash can
.a lot that needs love and attention. The owner is communicative. The chef and housekeepers were great. The captain a little shady. The biggest issue is the amount of money requested for items before and after the trip. I priced groceries when I went on the island with what was purchased for us. These charges didn’t add up. I was charged a golf cart fee. There was no cart. We paid cash to rent two from someone on harbour island on two different days. We were charged several times for ice. One charge was $47, another $55. I saw four bags of ice during the trip. I also was asked to pay $1800 for boat fuel (stating we went out on both boats every day). This is absolutely untrue. We used one boat but sometimes our captain was out on that boat doing his own thing. The second boat only took us out fishing for one hour on one day. It all seemed a little shady. I did pay an upfront$5000 through PayPal for groceries/fuel.

Middle Cay Paradise

We had an amazing experience from the time we were picked up at the dock, until returning to the dock. The property is very well maintained daily, and the housing was perfect for my family on 19. There was something for all ages to enjoy on the island. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Chef Jasmine prepared wonderful meals three times per day and the food was 5-star restaurant worthy. The daily boat trips to feed the pigs, turtles, and sting rays was special and the water is beautiful. Our older boys also got to fish and dive for conch which was a lot of fun for them. It was also nice to be able to boat a few minutes over to Harbour Island to shop and have lunch at The Dunmore. Lastly, the owner, Sonal, was very helpful and available for anything we needed before we got there and throughout our stay. I highly recommend this property! :) :)

A dream week in the Bahamas

We had ages 5-82 years old and this experience was amazing for everyone of us! Sonal the owner begins communicating with you right away and is always available for questions or concerns. She takes great pride in this property. The property has snorkel gear, paddle boards, kayaks, fishing poles, underwater scooters... and the amount of sea life around the island is incredible. The boatmen-Sydney, Cornell and EJ were absolutely amazing. Every single day was filled with unbelievable adventures to remote beaches, tourist spots (pigs, swings, turtles), bone fishing, snorkeling like I have never experienced (reefs, star fish, sting rays, tons of fish, lobster, conch, turtles...), conch diving, Harbour Island, Spanish wells, Eleuthera, the Atlantic (gorgeous blue water and snorkeling)...... We had one day of big water and we felt completely safe with these experienced boatmen and this big boat. Jasmine the chef prepared meals that exceeded every expectation. We ate lunch out one day and nobody wanted to eat out again-Jasmine is a very gifted chef with a glowing personality!! My mother in law spent a couple of days relaxing on the island reading while the rest of us were adventuring- she couldn't get over the number of lounging spaces to relax:) The gardener was so king and opened coconuts for the kids to drink daily. We loved boating over to Harbour Island in the evenings to body surf on the pink beaches before dinner. Traveling in October was perfect- the weather was wonderful, the water was 84 degrees, and there was not congestion anywhere. I cant imagine having an experience this comprehensive at another rental in the Harbour Island area.

BIG RECS from this Group of 12!!

My husband and I (and 10 of our closest friends) booked our Middle Cay trip to celebrate his & his best friends 40th Birthdays. And let's just say, this was a trip of a Lifetime! From Arrival to Departure - Everything was AMAZING! First the airport transportation and boating to the house was SUPER EASY! Seriously. Nothing to it. Once we arrived to Middle Cay, we were Greeted with drinks and appetizers on the dock and each morning you're awaken with aromas of coffee and breakfast... it was all quite dreamy. Some mornings we got up before the staff had arrived to island - and we would watch them approach and arrive to the island via boat and it was neat to see. The Staff was incredible! Sophie and her team handled food, activities, housekeeping, You Name it! They really catered to our every need. We couldn't have asked for better service! Chef Vincent prepared delicious meals All day. Every day. We literally ate off island for 2 meals... we were All very pleased with all things food! We were celebrating birthdays, and Chef made a cake with Candles and the staff even Decorated the Dining Room with Balloons, streamers and Happy Birthday décor. It was SO THOUGHTFUL and made the night even More FUN!! Captain Sidney and Scott were great and made sure we were having a great time on the water and on our island outings. Always going above and beyond with chairs, umbrellas, drinks and food. The boats and other equipment were all Top Notch! Several of our guests used the underwater motor scooters and had the Best time exploring coral reefs. After returning home, we texted each other and All of our first thoughts when we woke up at home that morning - "Where's Sophie???!!!" We are all so Happy we made the trip to Middle Cay. We WILL be back! and will talk about this trip for years and YEARS to come... Middle Cay would be GREAT for a Multi-Family Trip too. Both houses are BIG and each has a full kitchen. Great communal areas, Inside and Outside. and Lots to do On and Off, Middle Cay. So Yes, BIG RECS from this Group of 12!

This property is so perfect for a large family or group. We celebrated my mother's 90th birthday with our extended family - 9 months to 9 decades. There were 10 adults and 3 young children. Having a whole island to yourself with a pool, beach, well equipped kitchen and boats with captains to take you anywhere is heaven. You can't do better!

A trip to PARADISE

The most amazing trip ever! We had initially booked it for three days but one day in and we ended up extending for the week! It was perfect in every way. The island is only 10 minutes away from the airport and only a 5 minute ride to harbor island. The island is surrounded by mangroves which brings in lots of sea life. Turtles, dolphins, stingrays, starfish and even manatees! The island itself offers a lot of activities including snorkeling, kayaking, fishing, beach volleyball, a captain with a boat and a chef! We watched the sunrise from the infinity pool and watched the sunset from the dock, which were both breathtaking. The staff working at the island are very helpful and incredibly kind. My fiancé proposed to me while on this trip and our host Sonal helped him out with the location and helped arrange everything. The trip was absolutely perfect and we were so sad to leave. We are looking forward to going there again as soon as we can!

Fantastic Private Island Experience

Fabulous property!

We have been coming to Harbour Island for decades. We are so happy to have come across this new addition. We had access to the boat and the captain all day long. Kids were always doing some activity on the boat. We went to Harbour Island as needed. We loved the privacy and the quiet ambience(read no roosters waking you up) of Middle Cay.

Hermit crabs, turtles and ocean life were fun for the kids,. House is just unbelievable.

Everything was really fun,. The pool was great. The water taxis are very accessible to Harbour island and also to Eleuthra. So, you have both privacy and also access to more action. Fishing was great. We could not ask for anything more.

Amazing stay
