Luxury Townhome - Huge Deck with Amazing Views - Hot Tub - Steps to Lifts

Our 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath 2,500 square foot townhome is located at the base of Purgatory and offers convenience in all seasons. It was gutted and completely remodeled and professionally decorated several years ago and the huge deck off the main living space with the hot tub was added in 2022.

The townhome features amazing views of the Needles Range and Spud Mountain and features 4 decks (and gas grill) to enjoy the views in all directions. It's a very short walk to an easy ski run that takes you to the base area. The townhome also features a 2 car garage and the usual amenities such as a washer/dryer, highspeed WIFI (via Starlink), fully stocked kitchen etc. etc. There is no cable TV, but with Starlink you can easily stream your favorite services on multiple devices.

Bed Configuration (all 3 bedrooms are upstairs):
Bedroom 1 - King (TV) Second Floor
Bedroom 2 - Queen and Single over Single Bunk Bed (TV) Second Floor
3rd - Full over Queen Bunk Bed and Double Bed (TV) Second Floor

The townhome is not pet friendly - please do not bring pets.

Book at least a week and a 10% discount is automatically applied (Excludes Christmas/New Years).

The 4% resort fee included in the quote is the required resort fee that must be charged and does not allow access to the Durango Mountain Club. For an additional (and optional) 4% resort fee, you will have access to the Durango Mountain Club which includes an outdoor heated pool with slide, outdoor hot tub and workout facility. When booking, just advise if you would like us to add the additional 4% resort fee.

Small Issues Add Up

My wife and four kids (ages 5 - 10) stayed in this condo for a week at the end of February 2025. Our main priority was skiing at Purgatory Resort. The condo has significant potential, but we had a few issues during our stay. Pros-The deck and the view are outstanding. The deck has a large hot tub, a Blackstone grill, and ample seating. -The condo is well-furnished and has plenty of beds to accommodate large families or groups. Cons-The condo wasn't very clean when we arrived. The dishes, windows, and floors all needed attention. -The property listing says, "steps to the slopes." This is very misleading. They're technically correct if you consider hundreds of steps up and downhill "steps to the slopes." We drove to the resort daily, negating staying close to the mountain. -Communication with property management leaves a lot to be desired.-The fire pit on the deck doesn't work. -One of the deck heaters had an empty propane tank. I asked property management if they could bring us a refill. They said, "Of course," but then never showed up. There were other minor issues, but you get the point. Overall, the home has much to like, but it is held back by property management and the cleaning crew. If we return to Purgatory, we'll most likely find a different place to stay.

Purgatory resort is a hidden gem! Awesome place to take the family for vacation if you love to ski. The house was perfect for family game night after a long day on the mountain.

Love it

Our families spent this Christmas Skiing. Loved the Condo. It was cozy and lots of space for 2 families of 3. We love skiing Purgatory. Everyone is non-pretentious and friendly people. One problem we had was the dish satellite was not working so our husbands couldn’t watch all the football games.

Very Nice Rental

Amazing view, beautiful deck, upscale decor, comfortable furniture and beds, great location! Loved the heaters on the deck. We had a wonderful time! The hot tub was a bit disappointing, though, because the water was murky and overflowed onto the deck with three average sized people using it. There was also a problem with lime deposits around the kitchen and bathroom faucets and sinks. Overall, an enjoyable, comfortable stay.

Family Summer Vacation

We had a great time staying at this condo at the Purgatory ski resort during the summer! It was very luxurious with the nicest view and deck around (hot tub, heaters, etc). Super convenient to all the fun activities at the resort such as the lift, coasters, shops. We really enjoyed the white water rafting and ATV adventures, as well as visiting Mesa Verde. The location is close to not only Durango, but Silverton and Ouray if you want to adventure! Highly recommend this rental!

Great time with friends of 58 years. Perfect getaway. Fantastic deck, except jacuzzi was not yet fixed when we arrived which was in June, and they said it would be fixed mid May. Otherwise, great stay. We did not cook, bbq, etc. but everything looked in great condition.

The place was fantastic. I had reserved quite some time ago and the extended deck was a great surprise. We spent a great deal of time on the deck enjoying the hot tub and the view. If my wife and I come back with family we will definitely look to rent again!

Purgatory townhome w great views

We stayed here for spring break and loved this property. We have been to purgatory at least 10 times and these were the best views of any place we stayed. The property was very clean. It has high end furnishings, comfortable beds. Lots of extra blankets and pillows. The property manager responded within a few minutes. Would stay here again.

House is beautiful and views are breathtaking. Only had 2 issues with our stay. There were not enough towels and not enough hot water for the size of this house. We literally had to schedule showers, laundry and dish washer. Other than that, we had a great time.

Beautiful Home and View

This property was perfect for our family. We no longer have small children but it would have been great for that too. The house was perfect and had everything we needed. However, I wish it were closer to the lifts. The list says "steps to lifts" but it is a lot of steps. This is a long walk and all up hill and very hard to do in ski boots after a long day of skiing. Overall the house was wonderful with heated floors in the kitchen, living room and master bathroom.

Mountain getaway

Perfect Vacay Spot

Definitely will go back. Clean, tons of space, balcony in every bedroom. Views are amazing from all the windows in the house. Modern style home, with all upgraded appliances. Peaceful and Quiet.

Durango rental - was okay but not great

This property was nice but there were some issues. Upon arrival we had planned to barbecue but the grill was covered covered in bird crap. It is directly under a swallow's nest, and there was gross crap covering the cover and the entire exposed deck, we just did not even want to touch it or hang out there. The other issue was that the Master bathroom was not cleaned thoroughly- hair balls in sinks and in the shower. Yuck. Other than that it is a pretty okay place with nice views...., just don't plan to BBQ and the bathroom was not clean. I also paid for a pool pass but it rained like every single day so that was a waste of money - we never used it.
