Stepaway Vacation Rentals- Shangri Lodge

Relaxation and family time await you and your guests on beautiful Deerskin Lake in Eagle River. Shangri Lodge is a unique full-log home surrounded by woods with beautiful lake frontage on Deerskin lake. The home has a covered porch that runs along the front of the house and offers you spectacular views rain or shine.
As you step inside, you'll be captivated by the warm, rustic charm of the interior. The spacious living area boasts picture windows that frame the serene lake views, creating a picture-perfect backdrop for gatherings. Cozy up at the fire pit as you watch the sunsets paint the sky with hues of pink and gold. Reserve a relaxing Log Cabin at Stepaway Vacation Rentals!

The home comes with a private pier and a beautiful stone fire pit that overlooks the lake. The master bedroom (on the main level) has a King size bed, lake facing picture windows, that provide awesome views of the lake, and a patio door that exits to a secluded stone patio. The second bedroom (also on the main level) has 1 queen bed and 1 full bed and a pack 'n-play is also provided. The third bedroom is on the lower level and has a Queen bed. The walk-out lower level has a rec room with a wet bar for those late-night gatherings! Shangri Lodge also has a washer and dryer, dishwasher, WI-FI, DVD player, fireplace and so much more!

Shangri Lodge rents from Friday to Friday during the summer months and is pet friendly for a $100 fee per dog with a max of 2.

We had a wonderful time. Went for snowmobiling in February 2025.I would call it a beautiful log home. Wonderful hosts & management company. Just fabulous experience. Just as described homehome.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The log cabin was everything we wanted. Pet friendly and came with a dog kennel and spry for accidents though we brought our own. Fully equipped with just about everything we needed and lesss than 10 minutes from the nearest grocery store. A mostly sandy lake bottom for great lake frontage. So much space inside and secluded from the neighbors. It was absolutely gorgeous and Stepaway Vacations did another great job to facilitate the rental.
