I used to stay at the Grand when visiting Eastbourne. The View I’d more convenient, a lot cheaper, has direct sea views and is closer to the Town centre.

Modernised, but still retaining some of its original 1970s features and feel of quality. No Jack Jones and no mural to the workers.

Fantastic hotel close to the Wish Tower and a 7 minute walk to the pier. Right in the beach front. My executive room had 2 balconies with incredible views. Restaurants were excellent. The Vista is open all day with an extensive menu. The breakfast buffet is extensive and very well prepared. The room was very clean, huge comfortable king bed and a v large modern bathroom with a powerful walk-in shower unit as well as a traditional bath with shower attachment
