The Market Street Hotel was fantastic. The location was perfect, close to the Royal Mile, the Castle and all the hot spots. The staff was wonderful and the room comfortable. We love our stay!!!

Location was absolutely fantastic — an easy walk from Waverley. The mattress quality could be better (was sunken and kind of lumpy), but I had only stayed a night so it was acceptable. Otherwise, the room was very comfortable.

Excellent hotel with everything you need within walking distance. Parking is about 3 blocks away at Waverley Ststion car park. If you want to get to the Royal mile there are a lot of steps or you can always take an uber for a few pounds. The luxury of the hotel far outweighed walking up the steps.
