Sit back and relax in The Lochend Residence which is conveniently located in a quiet development, sheltered from the hustle and bustle. This delightful abode is just a 20 minute stroll or a 10 minute bus ride from all the main sightseeing venues and city centre shops. A 10 minute walk also takes you to a shopping centre which includes a large Sainsbury’s store and other useful shops.

Refurbished in 2022, The Lochend Residence is cool and contemporary throughout and benefits from a private patio with pleasant views over Lochend Park and free indoor and outdoor parking.

The spacious, open plan living area treats you to a large sofa, comfortable armchair, plus a large multi-Channel TV and leafy views over Lochend Park. The newly refurbed fully fitted kitchen has all mod cons, including dishwasher, washing machine and a large fridge/freezer. A light and airy bedroom delivers a peaceful night’s sleep in a king-size bed and there’s plentiful guest storage with fitted wardrobes, a useful vanity corner unit and a smart chest of drawers plus a wall mounted TV you can flick on when you wake up. The bathroom features a large walk in shower with luxury fittings.

This property is the pride and joy of a retired couple who have family in Edinburgh, and they have furnished the flat with new, high-quality fixtures and fittings. It is vitally important to them, as non-commercial investors that their property is respected and treated in an appropriate manner

Please note: we do not provide hypoallergenic bedding at our properties. If you require the sofa bed to be made up, there will be an additional fee for this.

A ÂŁ200 refundable damage/security deposit is due 7 days before arrival, and refunded after departure.

All properties are strictly non-smoking, and do not accept hen/stag/party groups. At least one guest must be over 25 years old.

Please arrange your arrival with the property manager at least 24 hours before arrival.

Check in is from 4pm, and check out is before 11am.

Please note that arrivals after 21:00 will incur a late fee of ÂŁ30 for unsociable hours.

Great property! Easy to find, accessible, close to many busses. The kitchen is well kitted out and having a clothes washer is a bonus. The bed was comfy! The flat is in a very quiet area a short walk from a Sainsbury's.

Wonderful apartment in magical area

I recently had the pleasure of staying at LochEnd Apartment in Edinburgh, as my daughter was moving to the city to attend university. We decided to arrive two weeks early and rent an apartment, and LochEnd was the perfect choice! The apartment itself was super clean and charming, with a wonderful patio that offered stunning views of the nearby park and lake (loch). Every morning, I enjoyed my coffee while people-watching from the patio, which became a delightful part of my routine. It was heartwarming to see so many locals out with their dogs, adding a lively and pleasant atmosphere to my mornings. In terms of location, LochEnd Apartment couldn’t have been better. It’s within walking distance of grocery stores, restaurants, and bus stops, making it incredibly convenient for all our needs. The area is both clean and safe, which provided additional peace of mind during our stay. Overall, our experience at LochEnd Apartment was fantastic, and I would definitely choose to stay there again. Highly recommended!

Lovely quiet and comfortable

We quite enjoyed our 9 night stay. Check in was easy. The apartment is spacious and well laid out. It would be big enough to live in “long term” The bed was comfortable. A few small issues: the unit has a washing machine but “dryer “ refers to a large wire rack. It took a bit for clothes to get dry. The kitchen was lovely but there were a few items saved that should have been thrown out by the cleaners (dried out creamer packets, opened and nearly empty, pasta
 Otherwise the interior was very clean. There is a patio facing the lovely park but it was overgrown with weeds and, with some care, would have been a lovely place to sit. The location is a 10 minute walk to several bus lines, making travel into Edinburgh very easy. The neighborhood felt very suburban and safe. Our only advice is to be aware it’s next to a football stadium and, when there’s a big match, cars can’t enter the neighborhood. Overall, we loved our stay here and, with the few listed caveats, would still recommend it.

We had an amazing time. It would be great if the host had some kind of book explaining some of the things that us Americans might night know about, how to use appliances, lights and locks! But really fabulous time! Loved being on the park.

Inaccurate listing of amenities

The listing stayed that there was a clothes dryer on site, but that was not true. Also, there was no laundry soap; no dishwasher soap (so we weren’t able to run dishwasher). We contacted the agent about the clothes dryer, but he wasn’t able to provide any information on it, but he never got back to us on it.

Off the beaten track...just the way we like it,

Very comfortable for us. A short walk to grocery store and bus lines. It was nice to get out of the hustle bustle of the city. Loved the view of the park and the walk around the loch.
